| What a beautiful cottage. Clean, modern, spacious, with all the amenities. If you're looking for peace and solitude this is the place to go. Acres and acres of private, untouched wilderness. You can literally walk for miles and never meet another person. Just listen to the bird call and watch the deer. Our nieces visited and we all went to Sand Beach Wetland for a day at the beach. Great waves. Lots of fun just 15mins away. Make sure you grocery shop on the mainland because there is nowhere on the island to buy food (besides a convenience store). Great time had by all and the host went out of his way to be helpful. Thanks Ps. And everyone on the island is so friendly too.

Owner response: Roger, thank you so much for this glowing reviewing. What you have described is exactly how we envisioned others enjoying this property like you did. Peace, tranquility, the ability to see nature in it's natural form and a real place to escape the hustle and bustle of city/work life. Also, it is great that you were able to share this with your extended family as well and to be able to take in the Sand Beach on the back side of the island. Yes we do admit that the grocery shopping is limited but for others reading this review there is a grocery store (Schell's Market) just moments from the ferry located in beautiful little Bath, ON (no need to go all the way to Kingston) and as he owner I am also willing to drop by with any emergency items you may have forgotten and leave them at the house if required. I love the fact that you also had some great interactions with other islanders as well because you are correct, they are a very friendly bunch that are always willing to help. You were great guests and we'd love to have you and your family back again anytime!! | |

| Our stay was an exceptional stay. It's a beautiful facility, clean, tidy, very well equipped with spices, kitchen supplies, linens, bathrooms and very big comfy beds. It was quiet, private had hiking trails and good to access to a multitude of habitats with birds and wildlife. The island is famous for birds, often with the less common species seen. The host was accommodating and helpful. We strongly recommend this place for a place to stay for bird lovers hikers and bikers.
