The Maberly House & Sauna

Originally built as an old Ontario cottage, this house has been completely restored and updated with all modern amenities and a design that gives a nod to its unique history. If you enjoy kayaking, the Fall River Park is located right across the road and it includes full dock access to the Fall River. The Maberly Community Park is just a short walk down the road and it includes tennis courts where you can play pickle ball or tennis, slides, swings and picnic tables. It's a beautiful place to gather with family. The newly resurfaced Tay-Havelock Trail is located less than 3 km from the house. Once there, you can walk or bike eastward toward the beautiful town of Perth or westward where it joins up to the popular K&P Trail in Sharbot Lake. Silver Lake Provincial Park is a short drive away and it has a beautiful sandy beach for families and kids to enjoy. There are also hiking trails in the park. The beautiful, historical town of Perth is a 15 minute drive - there are many quaint shops, restaurants with patios and the beautiful, historical Stewart Park where you can take a stroll along the river's edge. A short drive away from the Maberly house, you will find the River House Winery. They are quickly becoming known for their exceptional food and delicious wine. Drop by their tasting room and patio for some live music or make a reservation in their dining room/upper covered patio. You won't be disappointed.
