Welcome to Algonquin Delight, scenic 4 bedroom waterfront retreat on Kushog Lake, Algonquin Highlands. This is the quintessential family cottage experience! Guest Access:
You will have access to the main cottage with direct access to the lake. Driveway with parking (maximum 3 vehicles). No access to garage, washer, dryer. Please leave the cottage as you found it, clean, neat and tidy.
Host not on-site. Guests will have complete privacy during their stay. If you need anything we are just a phone call or message away. Otherwise, our home is yours to enjoy!

Upon booking, a Renter Code of Conduct must be completed by the primary guest, as required by our Township By-Law.
No pets at any time.
Cameras: There are 3 cameras on the exterior. One camera at the front of the house, one at the side of the garage, and one camera facing the lake.
GARBAGE: Guests must remove all garbage/recycling from the premises at end of their stay by taking it to the nearest disposal site (about 15 min drive). We provide 1 tag for disposal of up to 3 bags of garbage.
LINEN: Guests must bring their own bed sheets. Pillows and bed quilts are always provided. Towels not provided.

Bunk Bed: Top bunk bed is intended for children's use only (6-12 years). No adults or small children on the top bunk please.
Dishware: We recommend guests pre-wash glasses and dishware before use. It is the guest's responsibility to clean all dishes and cooking utensils at the end of their stay. Our cleaners do their best to look over everything but we are also conscious of keeping guest cleaning fees down. Thank you for understanding.
Starter kit: Basic toiletries and essentials will be provided for all our guests at the beginning of their stay such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, tea, K-cups, salt, pepper and sugar. It will then be the guest's responsibility to provide for these, should they need additional. Clear garbage bags and blue recycling bags will be provided (one needed for paper/cardboard and one needed for cans/plastics/glass).
Seasonal Maintenance: We maintain our property regularly. Our property manager may drop by for seasonal maintenance, mow the lawn, landscape or other exterior work. He does not have a set schedule and may come during your stay. You do not need to be home and he will not come inside. Thank you for understanding.
Wildlife: Although rare, wildlife sightings may be possible in the area of Haliburton and surrounding Algonquin Park (such as deer, bear, coyotes, groundhog). We kindly ask guests to be mindful when out and about in the local area. Please do not leave food outdoors on the patio, BBQ, picnic table or other.
SUMMER NOTES:
The property faces south so lots of sun in the summer.
Swimming conditions are excellent. Clean water, sandy bottom, gradual entry for kiddos.
The depth off the main dock in front of the cottage is not suitable for diving as it is shallow (about 5ft). The swim platform located between the two docks is available for diving and jumping off. Do not dive off of any of the docks.

A portion of the dock for launching watercraft and tying up your boat is removed from mid-September due to low water levels and for your safety. You can still sit & relax on the dock with Muskoka chairs & enjoy the sunsets from the dock!
Canada geese like to visit the property. While we do our best to maintain our lawn, it is not always possible to control geese droppings. Please be mindful.

| The cottage was amazing and the location was perfect!! The place was well equipped with all the required amenities and there were plenty of options for indoor games as well as kayaks, canoes to enjoy the beautiful lake which kept us busy and entertained for our overall stay.
The rooms were nice, clean and cozy. We had a wonderful time enjoying the serene and peaceful location, the bonfire, barbecue and star gazing. Cristina and Lucy were super hosts and were really proactive and quick in responding to all our queries throughout our stay. We would surely visit again.

| This cottage is absolutely beautiful with stunning panoramic views and was the perfect location for our family reunion. We were blessed with wonderful weather which made it possible for us all and especially the children to swim safely and enjoy paddle boards, kayaks, a canoe as well as other fun outdoor games on site. The cottage was very comfortable, beautifully appointed and well equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were lovely and always available. We now have so many wonderful memories of our time here.

| Gorgeous house in a beautiful area! The view from the deck is fantastic, and sunsets by the fire pit and on the docks were incredible! There are so many activities that no matter what Mother Nature throws at you you'll have so much to do: paddle boards, kayaks, cornhole, badminton, puzzles, board games, pool, air hockey.....the list just goes on and on!
Clear instructions across the property took the guess work out of virtually everything.

| What a beautiful place to stay! Everything is thought of! Even though the weather wasn't perfect entire stay we were happy we chose this place because there is so much to do inside. The deck on both levels is very nice to hang out to during meals while still enjoying the view of the lake. We felt very comfortable letting our kids enjoy the water being able to keep an eye on them pretty much from everywhere. The docks are also nice, one can be used for hanging out and the other for water activities and for jumping/diving from. We loved this place that would love to return!

| This is our third visit to Algonquin delight. We have such an amazing time at your cottage and always feel at home. The cottage is beautiful - so clean, well kept and has everything you can need for family members of all ages! We love to use the outdoor sports equipment during the day, toast s'mores by the fire pit in the evening and enjoy the games room in the basement at night. The host is so responsive and friendly, which is another reason we are happy to return each year. I would highly recommend this cottage stay and I know we will be back again in the future.
