The cottage is well equipped with all the required amenities including coffee maker, microwave, induction stove, fridge and dishwasher. The cottage is on drinkable well water. There is a gas barbeque just outside the kitchen door and an outdoor dining table and chairs where you can enjoy your meal in the tree tops. The open concept kitchen, dining and living room are the perfect places to congregate and spend time with family and friends. There are plenty of places to cozy up in the large living room. There is a large selection of books and movies as well as games and cards. The televisions (2) are both satellite equipped. Internet is 5G and can be sluggish in the high season. The three bedrooms inside the cottage are equipped with comfortable mattresses and pillows and each has adequate storage space for your belongings. The principle bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a double and the third has two singles. You will need to bring your own sheets and towels. There is a three piece bathroom in the main living space and a two piece bathroom adjoined to the principle bedroom. Beside the cottage there is a large and comfortable bunkie, equipped with one double bed and one single. The perfect spot for a small family to stay together.
Outside there is a massive deck with plenty of comfortable places to sit and soak up the sun or watch the lake. Enjoy your morning coffee with a beautiful view and the sound of the loons. There is often a gentle breeze as the hummingbirds buzz by. The lake is good for fishing and there is a boat launch located 1 minute from the cottage.
Walk down to the lake where you will find a large 16'x16' dock ideal for sun tanning as well as an additional deck situated under a shade tree if the sun becomes to much for you. We sit on 100 feet of shoreline and offer the use of kayaks, a canoe and a stand up paddle board. Buck Lake and Horseshoe Lake are easily accessible from Bull Lake should you wish to explore on the water. The water is clean and deep right off the dock, there is not a sandy beach. The cottage faces south, guaranteeing as much sun as you want!
There is a large fire pit area with plenty of wood and comfortable seating.
In the fall the colors are magnificent and something to experience. You pass the trans Canada trail on the road to the cottage should you wish to hike or take out your ATV.
Bull Lake is situated between Kaladar and Sharbot Lake about an hour and a half from Ottawa, hour and a half from Peterborough, 3 hours from Toronto and 1 hour from Kingston. The closest shopping / LCBO and Beer Stores are in Sharbot Lake (30 minutes) and Northbrook (20 minutes).
Come for a stay! We strive to make our cottage a place you will enjoy and wish to return to each year for enjoyable memories with your family and friends.

| We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. The gorgeous flower boxes added such a lovely touch and the clean, clear water was perfect for enjoying the lake. We especially loved watching the hummingbirds come by - it made the whole setting feel so peaceful and special. The cottage was clean, comfortable and welcoming and we truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. My two grandsons quite enjoyed having their own space in the bunkie. We would definitely come back.

Owner response: Thank you very much for your kind words Nancy. I love that you got to see lots of hummingbird activity, it really is entertaining to watch them. You have perfectly encapsulated the reason the Bunkie is special, it really does give a sense of privacy and extra space. You would be most welcome to come back again. | |

| We had a wonderful stay here this summer. Louisa was wonderful to deal with, and the whole process from start to finish was seamless.
The cottage itself was sparkling clean, newly renovated and I especially loved the ensuite bathroom, the well-appointed kitchen, the cozy reading nook and the hummingbird feeder. It is right outside the kitchen window and it literally hummed with the beautiful little creatures as we cooked and did dishes! The bunkie was right beside the house and was also in pristine condition.
Bull Lake is absolutely gorgeous, and the water was warm and clean. We kayaked everyday, and most days we swam twice. The water is deep right off the dock, so our kids and grandson spent a lot of time jumping into the water (there is a shallow entry for little kids, but the dock is easier.) The property is beautifully maintained.
I would highly recommend this cottage for a fun and relaxing week with your family. Thank-you again Louisa!
