Nestled in peaceful surroundings and completely immersed in nature, it's the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. Fully renovated in 2026, the cottage features a brand-new kitchen with new appliances, a new bathroom, wifi and air conditioning, and a beautiful screened-in porch. Situated on a large private lot right at the water's edge, this property includes a private sandy beach, deck, and 20-foot dock complete with a rowboat. Swim, canoe, or fish for lake trout, bass, pike, and panfish in this large, deep, clean lake with over 100 miles of shoreline and 200+ islands. The gentle, sloping lot is child- and pet-friendly, with plenty of room for dogs to roam on or off leash. Spend your evenings dining outdoors on the lakeside patio with BBQ, gathering around the outdoor fire pit (wood provided), or listening to loons and spotting great blue herons in one of the calmest, most secluded bays on the lake.
Hiking trails are right out your front door, with groceries and amenities just 10–15 minutes away. Whether you're seeking peaceful relaxation, family fun, or an angler's paradise, this private, fully updated cottage is the perfect place to rest, recharge, and make lasting memories.

Cottage receives the afternoon sun. Charleston Lake is approx 9 miles long and 4 miles wide and is over 300 feet deep in some spots. The many islands, bays, inlets, unusual shoreline and crown land (half of lake shoreline is crown land) contributes to the lake's unique character and charm. There are many areas to hike located near the cottage and all over the lake. The natural wildlife is plentiful and you will hear loons every day and see great blue herons, geese, ducks and other waterfowl on a regular basis. The Lake Trout fishing is renowned but those that appreciate smallmouth bass will also be impressed by the great fishing. If you have children or pets, this is a unique property that is gentle sloping with a small beach area and sand bottom swimming area. Although the lake is quite large, the cottage is located in a small, quiet bay. Cottage located on South end of lake.

Note: Charleston Lake is located 30 minutes from Kingston and 80 minutes from Ottawa. The cottage is located at the Southwest end of the lake just 15 minutes from Highway 401 and the U.S. border. The cottage is easily accessible by a good road and a deep water boat launch is located nearby. | Tyler made us feel welcome upon arrival. He showed us around, answered questions and made sure we had contact information if needed. The cottage is lovely. It is comfortable and cozy, . We were able to relax on the dock, with coffee while reading or watching what we dubbed, "Turtle Island." At night we were back on the dock with sweatershirts watching the beautiful night sky finding constellations and shooting stars. The canoe was fun (it is lightweight and handles well in the water) before we knew it, we were paddling along the Charleston Lake Provincial Park shoreline. The large picture window in the living room provides a view of the lake, boats, varous birds, loons, blue herons, cranes, vultures, osprey, eagles, hawks and of course, turtles. The point of the vacation was to relax and recharge. That was easy to do in this little corner of paradise. Thank you for opening your cozy cabin for others to enjoy

| Host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. The place was exceptionally clean and freshly renovated before my stay (I was their first guest in May 2026). Perfect size for a group of four adults.
We didn't need to use the AC as it was still pretty mild at night but it was good to know they had a large unit. I also got some work done while I was there and had no issues with the internet connection speed.
