One single small/medium size dog is permitted for a fee of $100/stay.
The tap water is periodically tested and safe for general use. However, if you prefer to use bottled water, you are welcomed to bring your own. A water dispenser (that fits a 18 Littre jug) is available for your use, if you prefer to bring a larger jug.
We offer Wi-Fi for your convenience, but part of the charm of our countryside setting is a slower pace—including the internet. Speeds may be reduced at times, and brief interruptions can occur. Cell service also varies depending on your provider. Many guests enjoy the chance to unwind and disconnect, but please keep this in mind if you require strong connectivity for work or streaming.

| We spent a weekend at Sunny Meadow Retreat Cottage with our family and didn't want to leave. It's quiet and rustic in all the best ways, yet comfortable, with every amenity you could wish for.
We lit fires in the indoor fireplace and the outdoor fire pit, and cooked delicious meals on the grill. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and waking to pine trees swaying in the wind, then sipping morning coffee on the sunlit patio, was pure bliss.
The location is wonderful for exploring. A short walk took us to the Rocks on Lake Huron, where we watched a gorgeous sunset. The water was too cold for a swim in October, but we'll be back in summer to try it. We also had a memorable trip to the Grotto and a lovely visit to Tobermory. The fudge shop was closed for the season, but ice cream for the kids and excellent coffee from a local café made up for it.
We can't wait to return to this hidden gem in the heart of the Bruce Peninsula. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy getaway.

| Absolutely beautiful cottage and a most wonderful host! Our first words when opening the door was “Oh wow!”. The cottage was super clean and tastefully decorated. Dana even had some fall themed decor which was a nice touch and pretty flowers on the deck. There was a welcoming basket with goodies for us including their own coffee blend. The kitchen was well stocked and the items we used were in excellent condition. The beds were quite comfortable, the sheets and towels were clean and soft. I have no hesitation in recommending this cottage, in fact it is on the top of my list to book again

| A wonderful cottage in a gorgeous part of Canada.
Dana is the best host and made sure we were very taken care of. I struggled to find a need unmet. Her care and attention to every detail was obvious after the first night at Dana & Costin's place. The five of us were very comfortable throughout our trip in this magical little retreat.
The place is very spacious, it has everything you could need, and it's so cozy. It was hard to leave the cottage to go enjoy nature sometimes. We would definitely book this place again. Maybe even for a winter getaway next time!
