Welcome to our private retreat on Charleston Lake. Boasting 500 feet of pristine shoreline, this secluded property is the ultimate vacation getaway. The waterfront features deep, clear water for swimming alongside a shallow beach area perfect for children. Best of all, the deck offers spectacular, unobstructed views right up the lake. Cleaning fee included. The Space The property features a main cottage and a separate, private boathouse, offering a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: The Main Cottage accommodates up to 4 guests (2 small bedrooms / 1 BA), . The Boathouse (1 large bedroom / 1 BA) features a king bed, a private ensuite bathroom, and panoramic lake views. The Boathouse has a window AC unit.
A notable highlight of the property is the screened-in porch sitting right on the water. It provides plenty of space to entertain, featuring a farmhouse table for group gatherings and a comfortable seating area to unwind.
Recreation and Adventure
Charleston Lake has more than 160km of rugged, winding shoreline, excellent fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, etc. Charleston Lake Provincial Park is only 2 minutes away, granting hikers access to over 25 kilometres of trails. Only 20 minute drive to the 1000 islands and to the town of Gananoque which features an incredible collection of cozy cafes and boutique restaurants.

| Lovely cottage on a beautiful part of the Charleston lake! My sister and I were fortunate to stay there for two full weeks in June and couldn't have been happier. We were looking for a quiet place to stay away from Toronto and this cottage ticked all the boxes for us. It's lovely and cozy and stocked wtih everything you'd need for an extended stay. The beds were super comfy, the property secluded and quiet. We particularly loved the screened porch that sits right over the lake. The view is fantastic. We saw lots of wildlife - the place is right next to the Charleston Provincial Park: herons, ospreys and turtles abound. There's lots of small fish to watch off the floating dock and the lake water is clear and lovely to swim in. Our hosts, Ron and Lynn, were caring, helpful and responsive. Overall, we had a great vacation and will definitely be back again! Higly recommend for anyone looking for a picturesque spot to spend away from the bustle of the city.
