| Absolutely loved our long weekend stay at the Summerhouse in September. Its woodsy interior brought back many fond childhood memories! The weather co-operated and everyone enjoyed late summer swims off the dock the whole weekend. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and Tim Horton's coffee! The grandchildren particularly loved the floating dock for jumping and sunning. The many pluses included extremely comfortable beds, large bathrooms, lots of dinnerware, interior activities for the kids and exterior seating on and near the dock for the adults in our group. We especially enjoyed the excellent stargazing off the dock on one of our nights … it was so clear we saw the Milky Way! We would happily return for another stay!

| Had a fantastic stay. There are so many positive things to say about Summerhouse. We were a group of 7 and 2 dogs. There was so much space, whether you wanted to be all together or have some quiet alone time. There was also so much to do - paddle boards, tubes, hammocks, badminton, fire pit, swimming, kayaks and more. It's also very private, no neighbours. The lake was warm and clean. The beds were comfortable. The main cabin, boathouse, and guest house were all clean and well equipped. It is located close to town and the waste disposal site, for this it's important to separate all recycling and use clear garbage bags for the trash. It was really just perfect. We would absolutely come back for another stay.

| We rented the cottage as an extended family with children ranging from a 1 year old to 16 years old. Our vacation was relaxing and everyone had an excellent time swimming and doing activities in the water. The shallow entry was perfect for the little ones. Most of the children learned to kayak and enjoyed being able to be on the paddle boat on their own. The canoe and stand up paddleboards were also popular.
The pass included to Bon Echo was appreciated. We did the boat tour to see the pictographs on Mazinaw rock and it was well worth it. Very informative.
The lawn games were well used with everyone involved in a ladder ball tournament as well as playing cornhole and badminton with their cousins, uncles and aunts.
The cottage housed us all comfortably and had space to be together or to retreat on your own for a break from the crowd. It was clean upon arrival, comfortable to be in and the owner quickly responded to any questions that we had. The view from the dock and the boathouse deck was incredible!
I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to others. We are in the process of renting a week for next year and will look forward to returning to GlenCannon Summerhouse.

| The GlenCannon Summer House was our most favourite family getaway yet!
We had an absolutely perfect stay at this cottage! Our group consisted of 7 adults and 5 kids, and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax comfortably. The cottage, boat house and guest house were spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for an stress-free getaway.
The kids had an amazing time inside and out, with plenty of room to play, while the adults enjoyed the peaceful setting and all the thoughtful amenities. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing, dining, and making memories together.
The host was fantastic, super friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure guests have a great experience. This was one of the best cottage stays we've had, and everyone in our group agreed we'd love to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with family or friends!

| Our group of eleven stayed for a week at the summer house. We've had the great privilege of staying in all three of the GlenCannon cottages, and the summer house is our favourite. Part of our group stayed comfortably in the “bunky”, and the rest of us were in the main cottage.
The summer house has a real cottage vibe. It stands out for us because of the spacious grounds and many areas in and outside to find quiet areas, needed sometimes with a large group.
The common areas were large enough for all of us to be together comfortably, at the fire, games area, front room, dock or beach.
The water is easily accessible from the private beach walkout, or ladder from the dock.
The view of Lake Mazinaw is unparalleled, especially from the boat house deck or dock.
We highly recommend the GlenCannon summer house for anyone's next family vacation.
