On a quiet, private bay of Muldrew Lake with 26 acres of Canadian shield rock and forest, 660 feet of shoreline, and not a single neighbour in sight with hundreds of feet of forest in between. Located in the heart of Muskoka, just 1 hour and 45 minutes from Toronto, this is the ultimate retreat to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature. From the moment you arrive, the stress of the city melts away as you take in peaceful lake views through floor-to-ceiling windows. The open-concept layout features a spacious kitchen equipped with essential spices and an expansive cookware set. A dining area with a large table that comfortably seats up to 10, and two cozy living rooms. The 3 season Muskoka room offers a warm, inviting space to curl up by the fire. Whether you're sharing a meal indoors or dining outside on the expansive deck, the lake is always your backdrop. The layout is ideal for large families or two groups, with two bedrooms on each level. The lakefront primary bedroom features an ensuite bathroom and a direct walk-out to the deck, ideal for quiet mornings or stargazing at night. The cottage is fully equipped with forced air heating & AC, Wi-Fi internet, satellite TV, a washer and dryer, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Outdoors With 660 feet of private shoreline on a quiet, landlocked lake, you'll feel completely immersed in nature. Muldrew Lake has minimal boat traffic, offering calm waters for swimming, paddling, or simply floating the day away. The gradual-entry shoreline and sandy beach make it perfect for kids and swimmers of all ages.

If you're into fishing, Muldrew Lake is home to pickerel, catfish, small and largemouth bass, and even pike, as large as 40+ inches. Unlike most cottages on the lake, ours features a rare private on-site boat launch, giving you the freedom to bring your boat and head out for a day on the water.
Start your day with coffee on the dock as herons glide by, or catch a glimpse of the resident beaver swimming across the bay at dawn and dusk. Spend the afternoon swimming, paddling, or enjoying lawn games like Tetherball, Cornhole, or Lawn Darts. Finish the evening with a glass of wine overlooking the lake, surrounded by nature and peacefulness.
Surrounding Area
The cottage is conveniently located just a short drive from Gravenhurst and Bala, two of Muskoka's most beloved towns. In Gravenhurst (15 minutes away), you'll find everything you need for your stay, grocery stores, LCBO, restaurants and local shops, plus ice cream stands that are a hit with the whole family. Head to the Muskoka Wharf for lakeside dining, boutique shops, and steamship cruises on Lake Muskoka. Bala, also just 15–20 minutes away, is known for its small-town charm, the iconic Bala Falls, ice cream parlours, and The KEE to Bala, a legendary live music venue.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Torrance Barrens Dark Sky Preserve offers breathtaking hiking trails and the chance to see a starlit sky untouched by city lights. For those who golf, you're within reach of several renowned Muskoka golf courses like Muskoka Bay and Taboo Resort.
