Welcome to our spacious family cottage located directly on beautiful Kasshabog Lake in the Kawarthas, approximately 2.5 hours from Toronto and close to the towns of Apsley (20 mins) and Havelock (25 mins).
With 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a massive lakefront deck, 400 sq. ft. dock, 6-person hot tub and room for up to 12 guests, the cottage is ideal for extended families, two families travelling together, or groups looking for plenty of space both indoors and out.
The southwest exposure provides plenty of sunshine throughout the day and into the evening, with beautiful views across Kasshabog Lake.
THE COTTAGE
Inside, the cottage combines the warmth and character of a traditional lake house with spacious living areas and modern comforts.
The heart of the cottage is the impressive great room with its soaring wood ceiling, stone fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake. There's plenty of comfortable seating for the group to gather, relax and enjoy the view.
A newly renovated kitchen and three newly renovated full bathrooms bring a fresh, modern feel to the cottage. The spacious kitchen provides plenty of room for preparing meals for a larger group and gathering together throughout your stay.
Just off the main living area is a cozy screened-in porch, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy the outdoors while staying sheltered from the elements. Surrounded by trees and screened on three sides, it's perfect for morning coffee, an afternoon read or evening drinks while enjoying the sights and sounds of cottage country.
The cottage also offers a separate basement entertainment area with a Smart TV, dart board, plenty of board games and Crokinole, perfect for movie nights and rainy afternoons.
The cottage sleeps a maximum of 12 guests across 5 bedrooms and 7 beds:

- 1 bunk bed with a Double and Single bed
There are 3 full bathrooms plus an additional powder room, providing plenty of bathroom space for larger groups.
WATERFRONT & OUTDOOR LIVING
Outdoor living is one of the best parts of the property, with two fantastic gathering spaces overlooking the lake.
Directly outside the cottage is a massive lakefront deck with plenty of space for lounging, sitting by the fire and spending time together. It's a wonderful place to start the morning with coffee overlooking the lake, enjoy meals outside or simply relax and take in the waterfront views.
Down by the shoreline is the separate 400 sq. ft. dock, with enough room for the whole group to spend the day by the water. Settle into an Adirondack chair and enjoy the southwest sun, jump off the dock for a swim, or launch one of the cottage's kayaks, canoe or paddleboard and explore Kasshabog Lake. Guests who prefer a more gradual entry can also wade into the lake directly from the shoreline.
After a day on the water, head back to the deck for dinner overlooking the lake, enjoy a game of cornhole or bocce, or unwind together in the 6-person hot tub. Younger guests have their own outdoor play area with two swings and a jungle gym.

AMENITIES & COMFORT
The cottage includes Starlink high-speed internet, making it easy to stream, stay connected or work remotely when needed. The primary bedroom also includes a dedicated workspace with a desk and second monitor for guests who need to get some work done during their stay.
Air conditioning serves the main floor and basement during the summer months (all bedrooms have ceiling fans), and the property has a backup generator for additional peace of mind in the event of a power outage.
There is parking for up to 8 vehicles.
The cottage is fully winterized and available throughout the year, making it equally suited to summer lake vacations, colourful fall weekends and relaxing winter escapes.
