PLEASE NOTE: MINIMUM ONE WEEK RENTAL during Peak Season, and minimum one month rental during Off Season. Two bedroom, one bathroom spacious Cottage in Arisaig, Nova Scotia Basement (where you'll find 2 bedrooms, bathroom & laundry) is completely brand new - renovation completed early 2024. Located at 47 Arisaig Point Road, just above the beach. Cottage is fully furnished, including a large sunken living area with a wood stove, a large dining room table, and upper sitting area at the front of the cottage where you can enjoy the ocean view. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. Both bedrooms have queen beds. There is also a "nook" area where you would be able to set up a foamy or air mattress if you bring one. There is single bed bedding available in one of the closets if needed. Downstairs you will also find a front loading washer/ dryer and bath and beach towels.
The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, and pots/pans. There is also a coffee maker, blender, crock pot and large pot in case you plan to enjoy some lobster! There is also a BBQ on the deck.
Outside on the front lawn there is a fire pit and large driveway with lots of parking.
About the Location:
The cottage is on the "road to the wharf" overlooking the Northumberland Strait, and is just a brief stroll to Arisaig Beach, the lighthouse, and marina. From the deck or sitting room, enjoy gorgeous views of the sunset over the ocean.
Walk the beach east to Frenchman's Barn (an ancient basaltic lava rock), or west to Arisaig Falls (part of Arisaig Provincial Park) to find fossils in one of North America's most continuously exposed stretches of Silurian rock. Geologists the world over have studied this feature for more than a century.

There is a 42" TV. There is a DVD player with a built-in Roku so that you can hook up to your Netflix or other streaming service. Cell service is limited in parts of rural NS, but it works at the cottage. You may find it works better in certain parts of the cottage than in others.
