OUR LAKEVIEW COTTAGE Modern living meets vintage Muskoka with this beautiful bright year round 3 bedroom plus sleeping nook, 2 bathroom cottage on pristine Skeleton Lake! This cottage is perfect for large or small families. The main floor features: an open concept kitchen, tastefully decorated dining/ living room with ample seating, features cathedral ceilings and walls of windows framing the stunning views, 2 bedrooms, 3 piece bathroom and walkouts to the lakeside deck for Al Fresco dining. It is also perfect for utilizing the bright spacious lower level that features a private second relaxing living area with a 70" TV and oversized sliding doors with picturesque lake view leading to the hot tub, yard, lake and dock. Lower level also features a 3rd bedroom, sleeping nook with bunk beds and 4 piece bathroom.
If you feel like enjoying the indoors, utilize the many books, DVDs or games to be played around the dining room table that comfortably seats 8.
Outside there is ample parking, perennial gardens, granite walkways and a flat, family friendly topography that includes direct lakefront access to crystal clear Skeleton Lake with a gorgeous hard-packed safe, shallow sandy beach waterfront entry, great fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming perfect for young and old. We call our beloved lake the 3 C's for clean, calm and crystal clear. The water is so clear that you can swim with your eyes open under the water (see pictures!)
There are several outdoor seating/relaxing areas to enjoy, including the balcony that provides shade if you need a break from the glorious sun. When feeling competitive, enjoy challenging each other to a game of horseshoes, croquet, or just watching the kids play in the sand with the sand toys provided.
Enjoy warm summer sunrises and peaceful evenings watching the majestic sunset while roasting marshmallows by the soothing campfire.
If looking to bring your own motor boat, there is a marina just 2 minutes down the road for launching.

ABOUT SKELETON LAKE
Known as 'Muskoka's Best Kept Secret', in the heart of Muskoka, Skeleton Lake offers sandy swimming coves, great fishing, water sports, hiking and warm summer sunsets.
Skeleton Lake is one of the largest. It has a circumference of about 25 miles and has been called the clearest lake in Canada. Unlike most of the area lakes, which are souvenirs of the glacial age, Skeleton is believed to have formed as a result of a meteorite impact. Being a spring-fed lake, it is very, very clear and on calm days one can easily see down to depths of 20 or more meters.
There is much to explore. A short distance around the lake is hiking trails, a waterfall, children's camp and shallow public beach with picnic tables. Fishing is great: summer or in winter
SURROUNDING AREA
Skeleton Lake is 10 minutes from Diamond in the Ruff Golf Course, as well as a 18-20 minute scenic ride to the villages/towns of Port Carling, Rosseau, Bracebridge and Hunstville where you can enjoy exploring all of the quaint shops, restaurants, live theatre, craft shows and summer time markets. (Bracebridge's popular Santa's Viillage is a 25 min. drive away).
Out and about, Arrowhead and Algonquin Parks offer more nature to those who can't get enough. The town of Huntsville is itself a huge art gallery, with Group of Seven murals hung on more than 20 buildings in the area. Golfers will want to spend a day at Diamond in the Ruff, Deerhurst Highlands or South Muskoka. Check out the program at the Algonquin Theatre during your stay, although if it's something you want to see, it's best to buy your tickets well in advance.

MODERATE CANCELLATION POLICY:
If the RENTER cancels this agreement there will be a $50 administrative fee. If the renter cancels the agreement 60 days or more from the commencement of the rental date, the full deposit is returned. If the RENTER cancels this agreement, 60 days to 31 days from the commencement of the rental date, the RENTER agrees that 50% of the rental fee be retained by the OWNER. If the RENTER cancels this agreement, 30 days or less from the commencement date of the rental, the RENTER agrees that a 100% of the rental fee will be retained by the OWNER. The security deposit will be returned.

| Beautiful cottage, felt very comfortable and homey. Amazing location! The Lake was so clean and clear, even in the cooler fall weather we thoroughly enjoyed canoeing and kayaking. The view from the cottage was spectacular with the beautiful fall colours! The cottage was very clean and well stocked and a credit to our gracious hosts Lisanne & Paul.

| My family and I rented this cottage in August, and it was one of the most peaceful vacations I've ever had. We have four children ranging in age from 5-11 and there was something to do for everyone. The cottage itself is immaculate, and our hosts could not have been more helpful and gracious. They were even kind enough to personally return a backpack that one of my forgetful children had left behind. When my son accidentally hurt one of his fingers while we were there, I scooped up a cup of water from the lake for him to place his finger in for comfort, and it was as if I had poured the water directly from a bottle! So crystal clear and beautiful. Throughout the week, it felt like we had the entire lake to ourselves, as there were very few people in the cottages nearby. Things picked up only slightly on the weekend, but even then there was very little that interfered with the peacefulness I was looking for. If I had to be nitpicky, I would point out that air-conditioning either wasn't available, or was broken - i'm not sure which But there were plenty of fans inside the cottage, and for a week in August that saw temperatures in the low to mid 30s, there were no complaints from anyone in my family of being overly warm. We had a beautiful stay, and are hoping to rent again next year.

| We rented the cottage with another family over the summer. There was 8 of us total (4 adults, 4 kids). I cannot say enough good things! The cottage itself was beautiful and clean, with more then enough space for us. Outside was beautiful. The water was crystal clear and the views were gorgeous. It was nice having a sandy beach area as well as lots of lawn to play games on! The paddle boat, canoe and kayaks were a huge bonus as well.
Lisanne and Paul were wonderful to deal with and answered any questions we had quickly and efficiently. We rented during COVID and we were very happy with the precautions taken by them. They truly thought of everything to ensure our health and safety during the week. We will definitely be returning and already cannot wait!
