1) The power went out and we had an electrician onsite on the weekend to have it fixed as quick as possible. Most companies do not respond to calls late at night especially in rural areas.
2) due to planned outages from hydro one I agreed to refund 200 of the rental fee. I deemed this fair giving the circumstances. You then tried to pry additional funds out of me by threatening me with a bad review which is very unprofessional.
3) the cottage does lock from the inside - we typically don't provide a key as it is very costly to replace the locks if keys are lost. If you had questions about how to lock the door it would have been a good idea to ask the host for clarification. The host checked in multiple times throughout the stay. Nothing was mentioned about locking the cottage from the inside.
