| Amazing place, amazing view, amazing service. Honestly, we were blown away by this gorgeous 'cottage'. It's more like a home. So welll supplied and spacious. The view out of the two storey front window is stunning that even rainy days feel special. The beach area was just what we love - enough trees to sit in the shade close to the water and enough sand to feel luxurious. The gentle slope of the shoreline made the waters calm. Ingrid and Dave were so helpful with their information and made sure we were settled on our first day. Really appreciated being able to talk to them and ask questions directly. We are planning to make this our go-to place for our yearly visits to family in Pembroke.

| My family and I absolutely LOVED our week here! We stayed back in August, but it's October now and I was just looking at the posting again showing two of my kids and reminiscing when I realized I never left a review! But proof that we haven't stopped thinking about our time there.
My partner and I brought our three children and my mom, and the 6 of us were all quite comfortable and had lots of space for ourselves. The water was so shallow which really helped my anxiety with kids that can't swim yet, and the beach was gorgeous. The water stays about knee deep really far.
The cottage was well equipped with games, activities, beach supplies, kitchen supplies, bedding, etc.
The owners of the next door cottage are related to these owners, and they introduced themselves on our first day there and we got some of the family history behind the properties.
We were incredibly impressed with the emergency preparedness and safety measures the owners have taken to protect both the cottage and their guests. There was plenty of information provided with everything you need to know when you first get there, laying out the rules of the cottage, helpful tips, how things work, where to find things for emergencies, etc.
It is very clear that the owners have put great love and care into making this property what it is today, and my family and I are so grateful that they have opened it up for others to enjoy. We will definitely be making this an annual vacation spot!

| We've stayed here for one week in each of the past 3 years. It's such a great spot. The cottage is clean, well equipped (board games galore, interesting books, canoe, paddle boat, sand toys, antique toasters, anything you would ever need for cooking a nice meal) and it's obvious they take great pride in keeping it in great condition. The beach is nice and sandy, and the water is shallow for quite a ways, which is great for our young kids. There are islands a very short paddle away to explore, including one with a shipwreck! The screened in porch is great in the evening when the weather isn't the greatest or if you just don't feel like putting on bug spray, we used it for most of our dinner time meals. The sun sets right over the river/lake, it's really incredible. We highly recommend it.

| Cottage is lovely and spacious. The owners take a lot of pride and care for their space. Beach is also wonderful. The sunsets are incredible! This place has everything you need and then some!
Owners are ver responsive and friendly. Will return again.

| We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cottage. The amenities fit our family lifestyle perfectly and the beach was amazing. The cottage was very clean and without issue. Even without air conditioning, the nightly breeze from the river and ceiling fans made the hot temps a non-issue. Our kids loved the bonus of a half basketball court and ping pong table when needing a break from the sun. Highly recommend this property.
