| The outside is very nice and well landscaped, beautiful view. The inside is very outdated, You need to be careful where you walk on the floor as there are loose floor boards and holes. The bathroom floor is the same way.
The mattresses are very old and there were mouse droppings on the beds as well and in the drawers.
We had to pay a $50 COVID fee and we had to clean the cottage and take the garbage. Not sure what the $50 COVID fee was for.

Réponse proprio: We had just opened after COVID-19 lockdown and had not completed the cleaning and set-up for the season when the guest booked the cottage. We have since properly cleaned. We did not charge the COVID fee to this guest. The guests are supposed to clean and take their garbage when they check-out. It is our policy, clearly spelt out, and is part of the guest rental agreement the guest signed. We have since bought new mattresses. We have retained a contractor and scheduled floor repairs and upgrades this September before closing the cottage this season. | |

| Pros: price; clean fridge and bathroom; nice grounds; quiet and private; you will catch fish.
Cons: old matresses (actually no queen); no swimming (too shallow and mucky); no dock; bbq is useless; mouse droppings out of control/nest in the kitchen drawers.
We enjoyed our week but definitely needed to bring essentials that should be provided (paper towels, TP... ) .

Réponse proprio: Guest were the first of the season and we had not completed openning the cottage and finilizing the clean-up. We have bought a new and big BBQ and cleaned up all the mouse droppings. We have updated the desrciption. Following the extended dry spell, the water level of the lake was low and mucky. | |
