This private getaway is located approximately 1 hour from Kanata and offers a relaxing escape from the city.
The single-level cottage sits on 1.5 acres on Joes Lake in the Lanark Highlands near Calabogie. It has two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped.
The lake doesn't allow high-powered motor boats resulting in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. No dock on the property, however, there is fishing from the shore. The lake is known for yellow pickerel and northern pike. Swimming is allowed in the lake, but you have to go further out to be clear of seaweed.
The cottage is available to rent for a minimum of three nights as well as weekends, a week & a month.

- A screened-in gazebo, a deck overlooking the lake & a deck at the back
- Large lawn for activities
- Firepit
- Crown Land nearby for nature walks, dirt bikes, mountain biking, ATV & snowmobile trails, etc.
Early booking and rental deposit are encouraged to guarantee the availability of the cottage during the desired rental period.
Rates start from:
- $200 per night (Mon - Thurs)
- $750 Weekend (Fri - Sun)
- $850 Long Weekend (Fri - Mon)
- $1,000 per week
- $2,500 per month
- Canoe & Paddle Boat are available for an additional fee depending on the rental duration (life jackets not included)
In addition to the above rates, a refundable damage deposit of $200 is required.

Tenants can bring their own boats, however, they are not part of the cottage rental. The tenants use them on the lake at their own risk. In addition, the lake is not part of the cottage property, it is Crown land and remains as such. We are not liable or responsible for any accidents thereof.
