| Our stay at the cottage was wonderful! Very peaceful and relaxing.
Nora and David thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay.
Amenities are close by, just a short drive into town. In town you can check out Sherbrooke Village and buy fresh baked goods at the market.
We enjoyed the lighthouse tour and the stunning views off the coast.
There is a beach only 5 minutes from the cottage.
We would definitely return in the future.

| When we arrived, it looked exactly like the photos. The beauty of the lake, the cottage — clean, cozy, and welcoming. We had everything we needed. And what can I say about the warm welcome from the owners I would absolutely recommend it without hesitation!

| This rental was an entirely positive experience for a number of reasons including but not limited to (a) its location on a freshwater lake only one mile from a large and exceptionally beautiful ocean beach, (b) a flawless level of cleanliness, (c) the ease of and pleasantness of dealing with the owner, (d) the attractive interior comprised entirely of varnished softwood floors, walls and ceilings with primarily blue decor accents, and (e) an especially thoughtful level of equipment in the kitchen and elsewhere. On that final point, it was interesting to observe that, instead of developing a list as the week progressed of things which we didn't bring this year but should ensure we bring next year, as one normally does, we instead developed a list of things which we brought this year but need not bring next year. And we hope to return to this cottage for many next years.

| Nora and David are wonderful hosts. They left a bottle of wine and Nora even baked a delicious birthday cake for our daughter. The cottage is very cute and clean. It has a kitchen fully stocked with any utensils, cheese grater, pots, pans etc. They have a great variety of games and puzzles. The cottage is right on the lake with a stunning view, also a dock with Adirondack chairs and a dock you can swim to. The cottage is less than 5 minutes from Port Hilford beach which is just lovely . This cottage is a perfect vacation spot with the 3 bedrooms and being pet friendly. Thanks so much for hosting us, we will definitely be returning ( again , this was our second time).

| Dave and Nora's cottage is the perfect place to stay on Nova Scotia's beautiful eastern shore.
We swam every day in the warm waters of the lake and enjoyed our coffee on the dock in the morning.
The beds are comfortable, the cottage is spacious. Plus, it has everything from games, puzzles and beach toys to a well equipped kitchen.
Highly recommended!
