| The cottage has everything you need to have a great time with family and friends. The space is well laid out and the backyard is very long up to the lake. The owner was also very fast at replying which was a bonus!

| We stayed at this cottage at the very end of August 2021. It is clean & combines a rustic atmosphere with modern amenities like wifi (very reliable service), flat top stove & oven, large fridge, microwave, large gas BBQ, renovated bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with many pots & pans, baking sheets & pans, an abundance of plates, bowls, glasses, mugs & cutlery. We found it very convenient to use the free side of the huge floor-to-ceiling pantry to store our food supplies. It felt homey from the first day, almost like spending time at a relative's cottage rather than at a rental. On dry sunny days we could sit in the screened-in gazebo for relaxing, bug-free meals. The large table in the gazebo is also nice for playing board games outdoors without having to shoo away flies, mosquitoes and wasps from drinks & snacks. The heavy screen even helps to cut the wind & the chill. The swing, slide & climbing set is wonderful for young, active kids and a lifesaver for parents. With the 3 watercrafts available (canoe, kayak & pedal boat) our family enjoyed going out on the lake at the same time. Paddles for the canoe & kayak as well as life vests were also available. The fire pit being located right in front of the lake, we could watch beautiful sunsets while sitting at the camp fire. Roasting marshmallows at the camp fire for smores was a sweet ending to a fun day every night. We have no hesitation recommending the place for a comfortable & memorable holiday.

| My husband and I seriously needed a break from working and Covid and a week at this cottage did the trick. It is a lovely cottage, with comfortable beds and has a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The property is quite large and provides a dock, a fire pit, a canoe and a peddle boat. We were able to go canoeing around the lake. We saw herons and loons and geese float by, and within days we were relaxed and sleeping in. This is definitely a cottage that would suit a family, with two queen beds and a set of twin beds as well, but it works very well for a couple too. The owners are very helpful and ready to answer any questions. I especially appreciated their Covid protocol, and was not worried about that at all. All in all a relaxing vacation in a beautiful spot with amazing sunsets.

| Our family of four (4+6 year old kids) had a wonderful time at the cottage. Tim and Shannon have done a great job keeping the cottage and the surrounding land in great shape and were always available and helpful when we had a question. Our kids loved the large garden, the flower beds, the playground and the shallow entry to the lake, which allowed them to play in the shallow waters or swim a bit further in the deeper waters. We also appreciated the attention to detail a lot. The cottage is equipped with a lot of valuable extras including a high chair, toys for play at the beach, additional equipment for the canoe, kayak and paddle boat, etc. Last but not least, we thought that the location of the cottage was perfect. It is close to beautiful Perth. Moreover, Mississippi Lake offered us great kayak and fishing trips next to the cottage. We hope we be able to return to this cottage in due course.

| My family really enjoyed our nine day stay here. We were worried about June being too buggy but that wasn't an issue at all.
The cottage is charming and the beds were very comfortable. The cottage itself was well cleaned before our arrival though I ended up washing all the dishes and cutlery before we used them as we were reliant on previous owners for this.
The three year old and one year old enjoyed the shallow warm bay and there were lots of open grassy areas for them to run and play. The play structure was also a big hit. The three year old asked to come back next year!!!
Owners were very accommodating to requests pertaining to Covid precautions which We greatly appreciated.
Also nice that boat traffic stayed far away from the large shallow bay that we were in. Lovely sunsets at the dock and from the cottage deck.
All in all worked well for grandparents, parents and kids.
