| I wanted to write another review just so I could give The Scottage more stars. This was our second year staying there, and it was like going home for a week. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Steve the Heron was back, there were two Swans swimming around every day, a Blue Jay took a peanut out of my hand, and we saw Hummingbirds this year. Truly a place of serenity for everyone. We stayed during the Perseid Meteor shower and the sky was so clear and filled with stars, they put on a fantastic show for us. The cottage is perfect for a couple or small family. Heather and Wayne make sure everything is perfect for each stay and it is very, very much appreciated. :)

| Dear Heather and Wayne
Karen and I wanted to express our heartfelt thanks for the lovely few days we spent at your cottage near Fenelon Falls. It was the perfect getaway — peaceful, beautifully kept, and surrounded by the kind of quiet that does a soul good.
We especially loved the mornings on the dock, coffee in hand, watching the light on the water from those perfectly placed Muskoka chairs. The weather couldn't have been better, and the three blue jays that visited us each day added a touch of magic to the calm.
Thank you for sharing such a special place with us. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already talking about when we might return.
Warm regards, Ken & Karen

This is our second time staying at the Scottage to celebrate my birthday. The cottage was just as warm, welcoming, and immaculate as last year, with everything you would need and more. If you enjoy cooking and baking Heather's got you covered. No need to bring anything from home.
Our bed was so comfy, slept well and woke up to spectacular sunrises. The night sky beautiful as well, so many stars! Since the weather was perfect we enjoyed sitting on the dock, my happy place, and eating our meals on the deck overlooking the water.
Heather and Wayne are always a phone call away. I accidently locked ourselves out, called Wayne and he was able to help us reenter in no time as all. Ate at our favourite fish and chips restaurant a short drive away, and enjoyed a day of shopping in Bobcaygeon.
Can't say enough good things about the Scottage. Definitely a 5 STAR! Highly recommend. Thank you both for making my birthday so memorable, and a very special thank you for the lovely birthday card and gifts.
Looking forward to returning next September with my girlfriends.
Mary and Bob

| Wow Wow Wow!! Not enough stars available to give The Scottage. Heather and Wayne have created a space of pure serenity. So many amenities available, if you forgot it, chances are it's standing by in a drawer or cupboard. The furniture and beds are comfortable, and everything is labelled to make use of all amenities super easy. The Air Conditioning is a nice benefit, but even on the hottest days we rarely had to leave it on overnight. The area is beautiful, and the neighbours were all quiet and respectful of others. Except for one, named Steve (the Heron), who thought he could just fly in and hang out whenever he wanted. We stayed at the start of summer, so all the Ducks and Geese had their babies with them and would swim around the little inlet every day. Easy drive to the two closest towns, Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon. Both with cute little shops and nice little beaches. We were there for Canada Day week and the beaches were never terribly busy. Heather and Wayne are fantastic hosts who make you feel like their cottage is there just for you. We are definitely returning to The Scottage!

| The Scottage is a beautiful and cozy getaway with everything you could want in a rental and more. The cottage is immaculate and so well equipped - if you were to stop and think, "I wonder if they have a...", you will probably find it exactly where you would expect to in your own home. The beds are comfy and the location feels private while still being close to groceries, restaurants, and lots of outdoor activities. Having access to 2 kayaks (and a canoe) was a huge plus for us and we enjoyed getting out on the lake daily. The wildlife sightings were a highlight, too. The owners are so thoughtful and accommodating - we felt like special guests when we arrived to a welcome gift and everything set up for our comfort. Highly recommended!!
