| The cottage itself was great, it was clean and very spacious. We had a group of 10 and were quite comfortable inside. The only downside of DC qq the inside was that the washing machine had mold on the inside, we had to clean it prior to using it (we had 2 very muddy toddlers that week).
The majority of the cons were outside/exterior. The surrounding cottages have signs for no airbnb/no trespassing every 6 feet and cameras that face the property.
The lake, while it has a small portion that is clean enough to walk in. It only goes up to mid-shin and is very mucky, after that it's all weeds. The kids and adults didn't want to swim in it. We were also unable to use our seadoo because of the weeds . The pictures make the walk out beach seem bigger than it is. We were definitely all looking forward to floating in the lake, so this was disappointing.
The cottage is also right off the highway, we thought it was further down. Not a huge deal, but the traffic noise was quite loud when sitting outside. And one of the rooms could hear the highway all night.
The lawn maintenance people came one morning, not a big deal but surprised us.
Overall, we had a good time together but we were disappointed in the lake the most. This place would be great for people who want to sit by the lake and enjoy each other's company. Not ideal for people that want to swim and play in the water.

| We really enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of space for our big group and our dog, and the property was beautiful. The water was warm and shallow, which was really nice for relaxing and spending time by the lake. We would definitely come back!

| We had a great family holiday at Shoreview cottage. We were a large group of 10 (grandparents, parents and kids). The house was super spacious and comfortable - we were not on top of each other at all. Comfortable bedrooms, living room with cozy leather couches, huge basement with pool table, ping pong and sauna. Nice hot tub in the garage. The house also has two fridges and kitchen areas. We took full advantage of the lovely backyard between the paddle boat, pedal boat, firepit, BBQ, beautiful sunsets from the dock. The lake was peaceful and the water very shallow, which was great for kids.
We were coming from abroad, so appreciated the easy drive from Toronto. It was also great being so close to Orillia, with shopping, restaurants and other family activities.

| My friends and I stayed at the cottage for a girls weekend. This cottage has everything you need for a nice relaxing time. The cottage was clean and the perfect size for all of us.

| It's really nice Cottage for family. Hang out lot of fun there hot tub, kayaking paddle boat. We had an amazing trip. Definitely going back next year. Cottage was clean and sounds of lake was very calming for sleeping. Great for families. Owner of cottages Ana and Mike very friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone.
