We had a lovely stay at Mike's cottage
Enjoyed sitting under the gazebo and looking at the lake view we even saw a rainbow
The cottage was nice and cleaned but could of used some salt and pepper shakers in the kitchen
The bunk room was great but the bottom bunks need new mattresses as our backs were complaining.
We all like that there were 4 tvs so the kids could watch cartoons while the adults could watch movies.

What a wonderful vacation. The cottage is well maintained and was perfect for my family. The grandkids enjoyed the water and the adults loved sitting under the covered gazebo down by the water. Sitting in the sunroom at night is so peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Mike is a wonderful host. I will definitely be back next year.

Loved this cottage! The beach is perfect and shallow water is great for little ones. Cottage is very comfortable and everything you need is there! Great trails nearby and good fishing close! 40 minutes from Bancroft. Cottage is clean, modern and spacious. Will be returning next summer!

Best holiday we have had. The cottage is beautiful. Owners have thought of everything. All three bedrooms are large. Beds are vary comfortable and after a busy day in the water you need them. A metal canopy at the beach was great for a break from the sun. Dock with Adirondack chairs are amazing. Kitchen has everything you need to cook all meals. Fridge has ice dispenser which is a life safer in summer. Couple of quick questions for owner were quickly answered by text. Great place for big and little people. Will definitely be back for another vacation.

My family of 4 had a lovely stay. The cottage is clean, cozy, and very spacious and would be perfect for 2 families. Plenty of space for both congregating as a group, and also enough space so that the kids or separate families could have their own hangout areas. Beautiful setting with a forest across the street from the cottage and a beautiful hydrangea garden in the front yard that can both be seen from the kitchen window, making meal prep and clean up a much more pleasant task. Having amenities such as the dishwasher and washer/dryer enhanced our stay and the provided linens meant we could pack on the lighter side which was also appreciated.
Lake Papineau is beautiful. Very calm and clean and entry is very shallow. The views from the cottage are stunning. My older teens loved canoeing to the island. Great location for star gazing, we were able to see the milky way which is always a treat. Plenty of nature to admire. We regularly saw rabbits, hummingbirds, and loons.
Mike was a great host.
