| Our family had a great week at Bluebirds Nest. It was enjoyed by all in our three generation family. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable with options for a large group..The roomy kitchen has a table and chairs for quick meals or the whole family can sit in the dining room.The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. After a big day at the beach, relax in the large living room with many seating options The grand kids enjoyed sleeping in the sun room and made it their own. The rest of us enjoyed comfy beds for a good nights sleep. The cottage sits in a lovely wooded neighborhood close to the beach and couple of restaurants on the river with outside seating .Beach chairs,beach umbrellas and sand toys are supplied. After beach trips there are games to play in the yard ...corn hole and croquet. Toasting forks for marshmallows around the fire pit, too.Jo-Ann has thought of everything you might need for a fun vacation stay. She is a fountain of information about the Grand Bend area with recommendations about places to eat and local events. Thanks Jo-Ann, you are a perfect host!

| My husband and I have rented cottages for many years in Southcott Pines. Bluebirds Nest was the most comfortable cottage we have rented to date. Jo-Ann our host was exceptional and the cottage had all the amenities of home. Anything that we had forgotten to bring with us, Jo-Ann had at the cottage and invited us to use the items. (Variety of teas was awesome!) She enquired if we made it safely to and into the cottage and shared lots of information for things to do and see in Grand Bend. By far she exceeded what a host is required to provide. We look forward to spending another week next year in this lovely cottage.

| Jo-Ann was a fantastic host who was readily available to answer any questions. She provided directions and information before our weekend stay, that allowed us to enjoy every minute we were there. The cottage was up to date and provided many kitchen extras (delicious coffee!). We were able to enjoy many walks and discovered beautiful look outs over the water.
The house was very quiet and private, surrounded by established trees all around.

| I recently stayed at Bluebird nests as a first time cottage renter for a weekend (October 2020) and every part of it was amazing! It definitely surpassed my expectations and made my first experience at a cottage prefect! The cottage was absolutely stunning inside and out, the photos did not do justice to how amazing it really looks! The cottage was clean and fully stocked (a range of toiletries, spices, coffee, cleaning supplies, etc) with everything we needed so all we had to do was eat and relax! Jo-Ann was wonderful! she was available for us anytime with questions or concerns and also checked in on us to make sure everything was ok (Thank you Jo-Ann!) It was a chilly weekend but we made the best of it by bundling up to sit outside by the firepit for smores or cozy on the couch with the fireplace going playing games or watching TV. Walking through the area and on the trails was beautiful! The sun was out with a crisp fall breeze and everyone we passed by on our way was so friendly. I would highly recommend staying at bluebirds nest! It was wonderful in every way and I do hope to return one day!

| Our gang loved this beautiful clean spacious cottage along with its ideal location and surroundings.
The windows were open our entire stay. The waves really will put anyone to sleep.
With that sound I could have slept on stones, the bed was much more like a long hug, very comfortable.
As the day goes on you need only shift your lounge chair on the deck to stay in the shady cool breezes. The polite privacy in all of Southcott Pines shows the effort and comittment homeowners truly have while creating and maintaining this Grand Bend sweet spot. Our family really felt blessed have this week of perfect weather. We quickly appreciated the low speed limit and felt safe letting kids explore nearby. South beach was so close, and the shallow sandy bottom of Sun beach made tending the little ones worry free while we watched the amazing sunsets.
At first the peace is kind of hard not to notice at Bluebirds Nest. My hammock got alot of use.
If the fresh air doesn't send you to bed too early you may even see the resident owl that lives in the trunk of a tree on the property as it sets out to hunt. That was a delightful surprise for all.
Our host was really helpful in making sure our stay had no hicups, most of all she stayed in touch until we had settled in and was certain we would have a great week.
It really seemed there was a bit of magic for our summer kick off. Thank you Jo Anne
I am not going to take a chance at any other place. Booking again today.
