| I can't say enough wonderful things about the McDonald Cottage. My family has been renting this cottage for years, and it has truly become a special place for us. Every visit feels like coming home.
This winter, I did something different and brought a group of girlfriends up for a girls' getaway — and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage is just as magical in the winter as it is in the warmer months. Cozy, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, it creates the ideal setting for relaxing, reconnecting, and slowing down.
Whether it's family time filled with memories or a weekend escape with friends, the McDonald Cottage delivers every time. It's the perfect balance of comfort and charm, with everything you need for a rejuvenating weekend away.
Already looking forward to our next stay!

| Thank you Andrea. We loved our family time at The McDonald Cottage. This was our second year renting this Cottage. The Cottage is beautiful, clean and well equipped.
Andrea was very responsive to any questions both before, and during our stay.

| What a lovely cottage and property. All the amenities you need & want. Great dock along a pristine lake. You can tell the cottage has been through a recent renovation. We had a great time with our family & would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to rent in the summer months.

| Fantastic May Long Weekend at McDonald Family Cottage Highly Recommended!
We stayed at the McDonald Family Cottage in Buckhorn over the May long weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time. The cottage is very clean and well-equipped with everything you might need, making it easy to settle in and enjoy from the moment you arrive.
The fire pit area and dock were definite highlights perfect for relaxing by the water during the day and cozy fires in the evening. On chillier days and nights, the family room with its beautiful view provided a warm and inviting space to unwind.
This cottage strikes a great balance between comfort and nature, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great cottage getaway in the Buckhorn area. We're already looking forward to our next visit!!

| Fantastic Stay at the McDonald Cottage!
We had an amazing time staying at the McDonald Cottage! The location is absolutely beautiful nestled on Big Hawk Lake with stunning views right from the deck. The cottage itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The private dock was a highlight; we spent hours swimming, kayaking, and just soaking in the sun.
We also loved the fire pit area for evening s'mores and star-gazing. Inside, the cottage was well-equipped with a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds.
We'll definitely be back! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home, this is the place to be.
