| We returned this year for a fourth visit to the wonderful "Happy Place". Marion was, as always, a gracious host who was sure to answer any questions ahead of our trip.
We had blistering hot weather this year, and so spent the majority of the week in the lake! Swimming off the dock is beautifully weed-free with deep water, perfect for a cannonball. We also enjoyed canoeing and kayaking, as well as bringing our own stand-up paddle boards to explore the lake. The basement of the cottage stayed cool in the hot weather and provided a much-needed respite from the sun! Each bedroom is also equipped with a fan.
Some of our favourite local places to visit were the ice cream shop in Coboconk, the nearby beach at Balsam Lake Provincial Park, and the local hardware store that has an amazing selection of Head Lake and Coboconk gear.

| What a perfect spot for a family vacation. This lovely cottage shows the pride and love the owners have for their Happy Place. Beautiful deep water for swimming, enjoyed the canoe and kayaking. Lots of living space and privacy for all.

| We had an amazing third visit to the Happy Place! Marion is an excellent host and responds quickly to any questions. The cottage is well equipped and made cooking our meals easy. Head Lake is wonderful for exploring by kayak and canoe. One night we enjoyed clear views of a meteor shower from the dock. We always enjoy our visits to the Happy Place!

| We just returned from our second visit to Happy Place! Once again it did not disappoint. We had 5 adults and two kids and definitely could have fit a few more. The cottage lawn is perfect for lawn games and the lake has beautiful deep water swimming. We also enjoyed exploring Head Lake in the provided canoe and kayaks and visiting the beach at nearby Balsam Lake Provincial Park.
Marion is always a wonderful host and is quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for the wonderful week away!

| Just returned from a wonderful week at this cottage. It's a lovely cottage, very cozy and very well maintained. The cottage was clean when we arrived. Lots of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond on questions. We really enjoyed staying in the Happy Place cottage. Look forward to booking it again next summer.
