| We just returned from our second visit to Happy Place! Once again it did not disappoint. We had 5 adults and two kids and definitely could have fit a few more. The cottage lawn is perfect for lawn games and the lake has beautiful deep water swimming. We also enjoyed exploring Head Lake in the provided canoe and kayaks and visiting the beach at nearby Balsam Lake Provincial Park.
Marion is always a wonderful host and is quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for the wonderful week away!

| Just returned from a wonderful week at this cottage. It's a lovely cottage, very cozy and very well maintained. The cottage was clean when we arrived. Lots of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond on questions. We really enjoyed staying in the Happy Place cottage. Look forward to booking it again next summer.

| Happy Place Cottage is a beautiful cottage with 4 spacious bedrooms that fit our 3 family of 6 adults and 3 children under age 4. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level and 2 on the basement level which is nicely finished. Two baths were ideal, 2 pc bath in basement & 4 pc bath on main level. There are two televisions with satellite; one on the main level and one in the basement which greatly helped on rainy days. The kitchen had everything we needed, lots of dishes, glasses, pots n pans and of course the all-important wine glasses! The cottage has 2 fridges which is very helpful, especially with 3 families bringing lots of food!
This cottage overlooks Head Lake with so many windows and a beautiful deck with comfortable outdoor seating for all of us to enjoy. Head Lake is so clean, great for swimming. We all enjoyed the lovely stone patio at the lakeside with Muskoka chairs and a fire pit. This was one of our favourite spots to watch the loons and our family swimming. The children loved running and playing in the very spacious yard.
The owner, Marion is quick to respond to any questions you may have and was lovely to talk with. She was a great host to our family. We would definitely rent this cottage again. Thank you Marion, we all had an awesome time at your beautiful home! Kindest Regards, Jillian and Family.

There were a couple of unexpected incidents, but were taken care of, but had to wait for windows to be installed, as they were damaged in a terrific storm. Carpenter came and is building a new set of stairs, which were also damaged. You left my cottage in immaculate condition, and my cleaning lady informed me that it was as if no one were there. | We loved every moment staying at this cottage. The morning views of the lake were spectacular and cozy evenings inside playing games were the best! Very spacious and clean. Marion is an excellent host and thought of everything we'd need during our stay. The cottage also has a gorgeous dock to sit on and soak up the peaceful lake. 10/10 recommend this cottage to anyone looking for getaway!

| We had a wonderful week at this beautiful cottage. The waterfront property had everything we needed to make it a truly relaxing, stress-free getaway. The use of the canoes, kayak and paddleboat provided a great opportunity to explore the beautiful lake and we were able to swim right off the dock in deep clear water. The cottage was very spacious to accommodate our group and the deck was great to sit out on and enjoy the lakeview and a morning cup of coffee, or curl up and read a good book. The fire pit down by the lake was perfect for evening s'mores and stargazing.
We would most certainly look at renting this cottage again in the future.
