| We really loved our week long stay at the Hilltop Farmhouse on Lake Erie! It was a great spot for having family visit and exploring the Haldimand County area.
The cottage was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting by the lake and watching all the birds. We even saw a bald eagle flying along the shoreline almost every day!
The location was great. You can walk to the beach, the golf course pub. The walk was nice too, with lots of pretty cottages along the way.
We had a great stay and would definitely recommend the Hilltop Farmhouse for a quiet getaway on Lake Erie. We hope to come back!

OUR SILLY SISTER WEEKEND
From the lovely drive down the newly found, beautifully lined country road to the front door of our gorgeous, large cottage, we were overjoyed to step into our mini vacation home for the weekend. Situated steps from the beach, we overlooked the beauty of Lake Erie and it's surroundings. The interior was just as grand. The kitchen had all modern amenities, large dining room with windows facing the lake which made our dining experience so special. Games room, living room and bathroom on the first floor were very well done with beautiful furnishings and unbelievable artwork. Second floor had 4 lovely bedrooms with another modern bathroom. The decks were large with table, chairs and a large barbecue which served us well for our Saturday night meat extravaganza. This place was perfect for our large group and re booking is not just a thought, it's a want.

| We spent a lovely and relaxing week at the Hilltop Cottage. The view of the Erie Lake is breathtaking and change every day. The cottage is very well equipped for cooking and there is plenty of room for two families (we were 9). There is a beautiful sandy beach at 5 minutes walk from the cottage and a very nice and affordable golf course nearby with a pub. We also enjoyed biking to Port Maitland. For wine lovers, the Niagara wine region is less than an hour away. We had a very nice dinner and wine tasting at Two Sisters Vineyards. The cottage also has a very nice pool room where we had good times in the evening when it was too windy to have a wood fire outside. We will certainly go back one day.
