It has major grocery stores, restaurants, an LCBO, a Beer Store and a hospital.
Lake Erie is the shallowest of all the Great Lakes. In the summer of 2022, we had three weeks of water algae bloom that covered a substantial portion of Lake Erie. It stretched to Port Dover and as far away as Point Pelee. This was the first time it had been that severe. We have no control over water conditions due to nature.. .

| A very nice, spacious property and very well-stocked with everything we needed. Gorgeous views of Lake Erie and lots to do in the area, too.

OUR SILLY SISTER WEEKEND
From the lovely drive down the newly found, beautifully lined country road to the front door of our gorgeous, large cottage, we were overjoyed to step into our mini vacation home for the weekend. Situated steps from the beach, we overlooked the beauty of Lake Erie and it's surroundings. The interior was just as grand. The kitchen had all modern amenities, large dining room with windows facing the lake which made our dining experience so special. Games room, living room and bathroom on the first floor were very well done with beautiful furnishings and unbelievable artwork. Second floor had 4 lovely bedrooms with another modern bathroom. The decks were large with table, chairs and a large barbecue which served us well for our Saturday night meat extravaganza. This place was perfect for our large group and re booking is not just a thought, it's a want.

| We spent a lovely and relaxing week at the Hilltop Cottage. The view of the Erie Lake is breathtaking and change every day. The cottage is very well equipped for cooking and there is plenty of room for two families (we were 9). There is a beautiful sandy beach at 5 minutes walk from the cottage and a very nice and affordable golf course nearby with a pub. We also enjoyed biking to Port Maitland. For wine lovers, the Niagara wine region is less than an hour away. We had a very nice dinner and wine tasting at Two Sisters Vineyards. The cottage also has a very nice pool room where we had good times in the evening when it was too windy to have a wood fire outside. We will certainly go back one day.

| Our family spent a terrific week here this summer and we are already planning a return trip. We had 4 teenagers, 4 parents, and 2 grandparents and there was something for everyone here. It felt quite spacious for the 10 of us. We enjoyed the wonderful view from the kitchen, dining room, and large deck. We spent a lot of time outside, with our choice of relaxing on the beach, on the deck, or in the shade under one of the large trees. We swam from the cottage beach (water shoes recommended) and also from the sandy beach a short walk down the road. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we needed and evenings were spent with bonfires on the beach, playing pool, and watching Netflix on the large screen TV. Heidi was terrific to correspond with for booking. Highly recommended!

| My family and I rent cottages every summer, in different locations so we can discover as much of Ontario as we possibly can. Our stay at the farmhouse, however, is making us question our system. We had such a great time that we are hoping to be coming back next summer! The cottage itself is beautiful but the view of the lake is unparalleled. It is also the best stocked cottage we have ever stayed at. Everything you could possibly need to cook is provided. Heidi has done such a great job and we can't wait to come back!!!
