| Marvelous holiday. Beautiful, cozy cottage with screened in porch. Cottage stayed cool during hot weather. We had a big storm so cottage lost power for 12hrs; generator automatically kicked in, no disruption.
Kitchen and grills are well equipped. Our adults and kids loved the huge beach and walk-in water with plenty of toys for all ages. walk-in water. I look forward to visiting every year!

| Lovely cottage with everything we needed to have a great week, inside and out. Great kitchen for our cooking person, great sports equipment for our sporty people, wonderful sandy beach/walk-in water for our little people, and terrific places to hang out for everyone (screened porch). Owners provided excellent info beforehand; great communication. We enjoyed our week tremendously and hope to be back.

| Sandy Pines Beachfront cottage is a lovely and very well-appointed cottage on one of Ontario's nicest lakes, Round Lake. We chose this spot for a recent family reunion, and it was the perfect venue for a picture-perfect stay full of laughs and fun moments. The cottage is very well-equipped and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The beach itself is fantastic, and Sandy Pines has all the water toys one would need for a great beach day. We particularly loved the fire pit (on the beach) and the opportunity to watch movies outside. Cas and Richard are wonderful hosts who were very responsive to inquiries and worked hard to make sure that we had everything needed for a great visit. The house is charming and has unique, fun attributes that put it above a standard cottage rental. We particularly loved the board games and the arcade game. Very convenient location and lots to explore in the region too. Easy 5/5 and hope to be back again soon.

| This cottage exceeded our expectations. I had been eyeing it for a while, attracted to the photos of the sandy beach and the lovely set up. A mini family reunion gave us the perfect pretext to book SPB for an extra long weekend. The owners were very responsive, communications were always very clear and lots of useful information was provided in the welcome package which made planning a breeze. The setup is ideal for families. We made excellent use of the board game collection, our two kiddos loved the water mat (and spent a surprising amount of time in the lake considering it was still early June), the Pac-Man machine was a huge hit and the special treats left for us made the kids declare it to be "the best cottage yet." We took the boats out daily and our little flotilla tended to paddled along the shore for less than 1 km to explore the Bonnechere River where we saw all kinds of wildlife, including turtles. We definitely hope to return for a longer stay in the future.
