| We stayed for a week at Sandy Pines Beachfront with our children ages 7,10,12 and my parents (in their 70s) and we had such a wonderful time! The cottage is completely decked out with everything you could need plus so many little extras that Cas and Richard added to make us feel so welcome, and brought huge smiles to our kids faces! The candy/treat bar was a big hit and the kids felt so surprised and special with their own brand new floaty tubes just for them! The place was spotless, the beds were so comfy, and the view, beach and lake were gorgeous! We all took advantage of the different water craft available. The big yellow raft was a favourite with the kids. We loved that there were enough different craft that we could actually all go out and explore the lake together. We used the projector to watch a movie on the beach under the stars, and the kids loved challenging the Pacman and arcade games in the early morning when us adults were enjoying the chance to sleep in. There was something to do every day, and even our one cooler/rainier day we had fun playing board games, snuggling in blankets outside under the screened in gazebo reading our books, and watching a movie inside. This place is top-notch in every respect, inside the cottage and out. We also loved the shallow entry beach that seemed to go on forever and was perfect for the kids to play in and the adults to wade in and cool off. We had an amazing time! | What a wonderful spot for a family getaway! It's so clear that Cas and Richard have put so much love and thought into creating a beautiful space for a family-friendly getaway. They spared no expense ensuring comfort, convenience and endless entertainment was available to young and old visitors alike (we ranged from 4 to almost 80!) The space was immaculate and equipped for just about anything and the main floor bedroom and washroom made it more accessible for our older family members. Communication was caring and responsive. The few areas for improvement we noticed are already being addressed (window/door coverings for family room, clothesline and foot wash station to keep sand outside). Their labour of love is documented on their social media - seeing the work they've put into this cottage makes it that much more special to enjoy. We will be back!

| I grew up on round lake and was so happy to bring my family back to one of my favourite spots!
Our hosts were the best, and made our stay feel so special With all the welcoming amenities like a 5star hotel!
This cottage rental surpassed our expectation for cleanliness, high quality bedding and a chefs quality kitchen. A special mention goes out to the outdoor facilities which included pizza oven, Blackstone and a very clean Barbecue, outdoor beverage fridges for those of us that just love to live outdoors!!
Most importantly an inclosed safe fire pit on the beach for an evening fire with good quality non smoking wood for our enjoyment of watching the moon come up over the lake (breathtaking).
Thank you for providing every beach toy needed to create core family memories!!
The only suggestion would be to add a clothes line for wet bathing suits and towels to keep the place looking tidy!

| Sandy Pines Beach Front is an excellent facility. We enjoyed the property for 6 nights and, for most of the time, this involved 8 adults and 2 children aged 2 and 3. The beach is outstanding -- wonderfully reddish golden sand from the deck to water. Great water toys and craft. Colourful Adirondack chairs circled a fire pit toward the water. Comfortable loungers and sun umbrellas complemented this arrangement. Some of us also enjoyed a time out of the sun below the ample deck area and above the sand in cushioned wicker furniture. The deck was outfitted with a super BBQ, pizza oven and separate grill. Adjacent was a screened in area. Both spaces held up to 10 people. Inside the kitchen overflowed with modern amenities. Everything in the cottage was newly appointed, clean, and tastefully chosen. The description on the website is very accurate. Nothing was mis-advertised. Our hosts responded directly, helpfully, and in a friendly manner to our few minor concerns and questions. The water itself was very clean, weed free, and one could wade out for 200 metres or so without going over one's head. Is there room for improvement? Sure as in all things in life, even the excellent can be better. How? One bedroom lacks an overhead fan, a clothesline seems like a no brainer, and the children's bedroom lacks window coverings to block out the sun (privacy was not an issue!). I looked at over 300 listings before booking at SPB. We were not disappointed!!

| Sandy Pines is everything the photos and reviews make it seem - and then some. The layout, finishes and cleanliness of the cottage is hotel quality and an immense amount of effort has gone into the little touches - from special toys and activities for the kids, to treats and wine/beer in the fridge. The bedrooms were perfect for our group and the dining and entertainment spaces very well used - the outdoor dining table, grill, Blackstone, pizza oven... all overlooking the most amazing Canadian beach I've ever seen. All-sand, not a weed or rock to be seen no matter how far you go out or how far you dig! Another amazing feature was the completely screened-in gazebo with large sectional, which was used to enjoy the evenings bug-free! I cannot recommend Sandy Pines highly enough and very much hope to return in the near future.
