| The experience we had at the Essex Lakehouse Cottage on Lake Erie was one of the best cottage rentals we have ever had the pleasure of taking part in. The property is absolutely stunning, for which words do not do justice.
Even before our stay, the owners of the property made us feel at home. They were very responsive and helped through the process given all the necessary COVID restrictions. We felt comfortable and safe knowing that the owners themselves were taking the utmost protection against the virus. Of course, the experience continued to evolve and become even better once we checked into our destination. I still remember the first words that came out of the guests in our group: ?Wow, is this some time of modern-day castle??
The tasteful décor inside the property was full of luxury and warmth that screamed professionalism and class. The amenities truly set this cottage apart from the competition, such as wall-to-wall ceiling high windows, luxurious washrooms, and halls that provided panoramic views overlooking the Erie.
Speaking of which, the setting of this property on the lakefront provides for amazing views of the sunset every night and sitting around the fire watching the sun go down over the horizon has been one of the many spiritual highlights we felt on this vacation. All in all, we felt safe before we arrived, invigorated while we stayed, and left longing for more when we checked out and am genuinely excited to redo this experience once again.

| Beautiful property! Stayed here for several days and did not want to leave. The place is clean and spacious with very comfortable beds that are the equivalent to sleeping on a cloud. The scenic views from all the windows are absolutely breathtaking. If you're looking for an escape from these crazy times or just need a relaxing time out, this is the place to go. They've paid extra attention to the little details and there are some really neat wineries and local places to check out as well! We will definitely be back.
