| Since ratings are relative, it's key to know my standards for cottages in the Georgian Bay area are VERY high. I've spent 5 decades in a wide variety of cottages around here and credit my staying in Canada to those experiences. That said, we all LOVED spending time at this cottage and really liked Geoff and Alex as people too. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and our travels easy. As for the cottage itself, what can I say: East, West and Southern exposure (!?!?!?!), set on a good sized bay shared by only one other cottage an elevated for a good view and great air circulation!?!? TOugh to beat... Of the many places to enjoy, my favourite was the little beach under the shade of majestic White Pines. We setup reclining chairs in the water there and pretty much stayed there half the day rotating between that and the dock, the shaded porch and the screened in sitting areas. I could spend the whole summer under the tree. The cottage clean, nothing was wanting, plenty of room for everyone and good air circulation so even on a hot day no air conditioning was required. Beavers and loons came within 20 feet of the dock while gazing at the brilliantly clear Milky Way from the dock at nights. We loved canoeing daily. Although the kids wanted to stay in the city with their friends, they ended up loving their time there as much as we did - just because it was so nice. Thank you Geoff and Alex for sharing your beautiful place with us. We love it!

| An absolute gem! We had the most spectacular week at The Point - from sparkling sunrise to epic sunset, our time at this perfectly authentic and beautifully quaint cottage was nothing short of magical. We slept like babies, we soaked up the sunshine, we adventured and explored... The lake is stunning and clear, the neighbours are friendly and welcoming and the cottage itself is perfectly appointed and equipped, not to mention incredibly comfortable -- rain or shine! Thank you for sharing your spectacular spot with us -- we cannot wait to come back!
