| My family really enjoyed our stay at The Laughing Moose. Such a beautiful place and Janice was great to communicate with.
With large windows looking out to wonderful lake views and a spacious living-dining area centred around a stunning stone fireplace, it was a very welcoming and relaxing spot to come back to after a day of skiing. Plus, there was the added treat of a hot tub and sauna. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking.
We had a great weekend staying here and plan to come back next year. Thank you Janice!

| Absolutely LOVED The Laughing Moose lodge!! Our group had 6 adults, a toddler and a big dog and everyone had a fantastic time during our stay. As a dog parent, it at times feels like searching for a needle in a haystack to find a property that is dog friendly and has excellent amenities and location. I'm so happy to say that this place is all that and more!
Janice is an incredible host. From the first communication, she was very responsive and friendly. The lodge itself is wonderful! There is plenty of space for everyone and all the rooms are very comfortable. Our group very much appreciated all the thoughtful touches (loved all the informative labels and notes everywhere) Janice provided. She also left us a delicious blueberry pie and treats for my dog.
We loved the hot tub and sauna and had a great time making s'mores at the fire pit right on the water. An added bonus was the delicious food at JC's Smokehouse which is right down the road.
Our family loved it here and we will back next year for sure!

| Went with 5 guys snowmobiling. Enough parking for 3 trucks and trailers. The place is huge. Large kitchen/dining/living room. Bonus of a hot tub and sauna. Hosts were great. You can snowmobile right from the house. Gas/booze and grocery store 1km away. We have already booked for next year.

| Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience! From the booking inquiries to the departure farewells, Janice was responsive and personable. We were impressed with the tasteful decor and cleanliness upon arrival. The property is well appointed with a fully outfitted kitchen, 1.5 baths, and all the quality linens you will need for your stay. Plenty of comforts on the decks, at the fire pit, and on the beachfront with privacy from the neighbours. The lake is lovely at any time of day to enjoy the kayaks and canoe with adult PFDs available. Lots of firewood and kindling available for the fire pit or fireplace inside. The hot tub and sauna were great to enjoy after trekking around the trails. The mattresses and bed linens are top notch and the room darkening draperies let you sleep in. Janice was available throughout the stay for any questions or assistance needed and Simon was so kind to help get the bonfire going. Combined with the natural wonder of visiting the Algonquin area, Laughing Moose Lodge is such a pleasure to stay!

| Our week at the Laughing Moose was wonderful. Janice and Simon are simply lovely and were so helpful from our first inquiry all the way throughout our stay. As mentioned by others, the beds are very comfortable (love the fluffy duvets!) and encourage excellent sleep. The great room was spacious for sitting while still looking over the lake. The kitchen is well appointed and well laid out, making meal prep easy. The views are beautiful from the deck, hot tub, screened-in room, dining area, and great room. Being above the lake makes it better. Most of our time was spent outdoors and on the water. The deck is the perfect place to spend the afternoon snacking and enjoying. The lake is protected out front of the cottage from the wind so kayaking and canoeing are enjoyable. Having the fire pit down by the lake is very nice-again great views while roasting marshmallows. No one wanted to leave at the end of the week and we have so many amazing pictures, including the milky way and other night shots. Thank you Janice and Simon.
