| We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Paula and Hugh's cottage. From the very beginning, they were exceptional hosts: professional, thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly helpful. They provided terrific details before our arrival, answered all of our questions clearly, and made sure we had plenty of great options to explore in the area.
The cottage itself was amazing. It was beautiful, spotless, and fully stocked with everything our group of eight needed to relax and enjoy the week (and they actually meant it when they said the kitchen has everything). The layout was fantastic, with every bedroom having its own bathroom and private access to the lake or outside, which made the stay feel comfortable and spacious for everyone.
The sunsets from the great room were spectacular, the swimming area was excellent, and the fishing was terrific. We've stayed in many cottages and vacation properties over the years, and this was easily one of our favourites so far. We were very impressed and would highly recommend Paula and Hugh's place to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, and memorable getaway.

| Came for March Break with my three sons. We have been here before in the summer, but in someways it's even nicer in the winter.
Snowshoeing on the lake and coming back to a roaring fire are winter highlights. Lots of board games for the boys to play and reliable WIFI when they needed their devices. And comfortable beds when they finally ran out of energy. The cottage itself is very well equipped and spotlessly clean.
We had a marvellous time and no one wanted to leave!

| Paula and Hugh are hospitable and friendly hosts. They came by for an initial visit to check that we had everything we needed, and we also saw them through the week as they travelled to and from their property off-shore so there was plenty of opportunity to have a word. Not that we needed to! Everything at Bedford Lake House was spotlessly clean and well-maintained; inside and out everything was perfection.
Some of us were mobility challenged and restricted our trips down to the lake to once a day expeditions, sometimes to sit by the water appreciating the peace and quiet and sometimes to enjoy the evening campfire and s'mores. The fire pit was a hit and those in charge of the fires said the supplied wood was the best we've ever had. Those who could get in the water said it was lovely and they spent most of the week drifting along the shore in the flotation devices they'd brought.
We had a great week at Bedford Lake House and hope to return some day.

| Our group of five had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, from the cozy interior to the outdoor spaces. The lake is crystal clear perfect for swimming, kayaking, or just relaxing by the shore. Each evening, we were treated to breathtaking sunsets right from the dock and the cottage, which quickly became a highlight of our stay. Hugh and Paula's garden provided us with fresh veggies that we used almost every meal and as hosts they were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. We hope to return next summer!

| We just spent 2 relaxing nights at the Bedford cottage and enjoyed every minute of it. Devils Lake is pristine, deep and reminiscent of the Muskokas, without the drive. Only 30 minutes from Kingston, if you need to get back to town for any reason, it's easy to do. We were able to unplug for 48 hours, enjoy good food (fresh strawberries and greens from Hugh's garden), a million dollar sunset and expansive view of the lake from anywhere in the cottage. The water was warm enough to swim and the use of a canoe and kayaks really added to the overall experience. I'd highly recommend this cottage. We were just 2 people, but it is well equipped for a group.
