My family and I had an amazing stay at Melanie's cottage. We enjoyed how secluded the area with no cottage on either side which makes for a calm & quiet week.

The cottage was equipped with everything that we needed and we felt right at home. We were impressed with his kid friendly the cottage was as we have 1 year old twins who like to get into everything. The screened in porch was a game changer for our early mornings with the kids and for the one day when we got rain. We were still able to enjoy the outdoors through the screened porch.

There is a cute store nearby (15 mins) away where we enjoyed delicious baked goods. We brought them back to enjoy on the dock with our coffee.

We would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone who wants a relaxing, quiet spot on a beautiful lake. We hope to be back soon!

Alex's cottage is absolutely wonderful! Me and my friends had such an amazing time here. Upon arrival, the place was spotless, as well as a sweet welcome note. The best part about the cottage is the outdoor balcony lounge area, it's enclosed with a netting so it's a great indoor/outdoor space. We spent a lot of our time socializing there. Alex was also very helpful and responsive to all of our questions and requests. On a final note, it's such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay with no one around you. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a great time during our cottage stay. The place was clean and the owners were very responsive to any of our questions. We spent many nights reading in the screened in porch and enjoying the stars from the dock (on a clear night you can see so many!). Our little one loved the sand and water while the adults had a great time in the kayaks. The lake is very peaceful. This is the perfect summer vacation spot.

Calm at Magnetewan was absolutely peaceful. If you are looking for a quiet majestic getaway, this is the place to go.

The cottage is located far from neighbors and on a quiet lake that lets you relax with the sounds of nature in the background. The owners were very responsive and checked in upon our arrival in case we had any questions. The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities needed for our family of four. The screened deck was definitely the highlight of the cottage. We spent hours relaxing with the sounds of the outdoors but without the bugs. It was a great spot for morning coffees or cards and board games at night.

The outdoors has everything you need for a cottage vacation. Kayaks and canoe for getting out on the water. Plus the main dock and floating dock with water slide was highlight for the kids. My wife and I are avid runners and our morning runs through woods were an amazing way to start the day.

This cottage was a wonderful getaway and would recommend it to anyone looking to getaway from the hustle of city life.

We stayed here with our 1 year old and our friends who have 1 year old twins. An excellent, kid-friendly cottage that was very clean and fit us all easily. We definitely hope to stay here again!
