| This cottage exceeded all my expectations! It was impeccably clean, very tidy, and extremely comfortable. All bed rooms were nice and clean. The kitten is big and had everything we needed. The house features two large balconies, we sat there enjoying the peaceful sunlight. Just stepping outside, there is crystal-clear lake water where we can even see small fish swimming around. The owner provided two pedal boats, two kayaks, a canoe, and a small electric boat. My family, friends, and I had a great time trying them all out together. It was so much fun exploring the lake and enjoying quality time on the water. The location is perfect for fishing and boating.

| We had an amazing stay with our friends at this beautiful waterfront cottage in Waltham. The view was great and the atmosphere was peaceful perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cottage was very clean and fully equipped like a hotel, with all bedding and essentials provided, so we didn't have to bring anything except for our food. Ruth, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive, even going out of their way to return an item we accidentally left behind. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, beauty, and true hospitality.

| We, a group of 4 families, had a wonderful weekend at Ruth's beautiful waterfront cottage. Everything was perfect!
The spacious 3 story cottage is quietly sitting in the woods. The south-facing balcony on each floor creates a sunny retreat with a graceful view of the Ottawa River. You can enjoy the nature by yourself or with your family or friends conveniently.
The large open area is well maintained with a playground and a nice fire pit on the ground level. We stepped down to a large deck and sat on the chairs, chatting a lot and laughing loudly. Continually stepping down to a nice dock, we steered a boat in the Ottawa River and swam in the lake. The view was picturesque and the water was calm and clean. The gorgeous sunsets over the river were intoxicating. Also, I can't forget the peaceful morning when my friends fished in the misty fog on the river. We got 2 pieces of pickerels!
The cottage is clean and spacious with a nice air conditioner. The kitchen is fully stocked with a BBQ grill on the deck. The bedrooms are comfortable and we all slept well.
Definitely a great stay! 5/5 recommend! Ruth, thank you for hosting us!
