It locates only 90 minutes west of Ottawa and 20 minutes of Pembroke, which you can find almost everything you could need, local stores, LCBO, restaurants etc. This cottage has both central air conditioning and heating, as well as a wood fireplace to make your stays extra cozy. You will enjoy graceful water view, mountain view and bay view from windows and dock. With installed Starlink high speed internet in 100+Mbps, providing you unlimited internet surfing and work from the cottage. Great for fishing, swimming, boating and other water activities. Guest can access the cottage through the front door where have step-free entrance and can use the back door deck in lower level to enter and exit the home, the firepit and playground in the right side of the home with firewood storage shed.
There is a big new deck just down to stairs and a dock on the shoreline, in addition a step-free path to get to water for wheelchair and walker.

| We, a group of 4 families, had a wonderful weekend at Ruth's beautiful waterfront cottage. Everything was perfect!
The spacious 3 story cottage is quietly sitting in the woods. The south-facing balcony on each floor creates a sunny retreat with a graceful view of the Ottawa River. You can enjoy the nature by yourself or with your family or friends conveniently.
The large open area is well maintained with a playground and a nice fire pit on the ground level. We stepped down to a large deck and sat on the chairs, chatting a lot and laughing loudly. Continually stepping down to a nice dock, we steered a boat in the Ottawa River and swam in the lake. The view was picturesque and the water was calm and clean. The gorgeous sunsets over the river were intoxicating. Also, I can't forget the peaceful morning when my friends fished in the misty fog on the river. We got 2 pieces of pickerels!
The cottage is clean and spacious with a nice air conditioner. The kitchen is fully stocked with a BBQ grill on the deck. The bedrooms are comfortable and we all slept well.
Definitely a great stay! 5/5 recommend! Ruth, thank you for hosting us!

| This cottage is so beautiful! Full sun on the back deck all day! Boats provided, boat launch nearby, great for fishing. The place is so welcoming and comfortable. Covered balconies in case of rain and the owners are so incredibly kind! 10/10 would rent again.

| Very nice and clean cottage with lots of sleeping spaces. Lots of space too if it rains and the family is stuck inside. My kids enjoyed the mini pool and hockey/football games.
Lots of clean towels, all sorts of kitchen ware. Everything we needed was available. Firewood and propane were both provided as well.
Driveway is steep and a little washed, if you have a car park up top. All 3 of our SUVs had no problem.
As the pictures show there are many steps to the water but there is also a winding path down for people who don't like the steep incline.
We all had a great peaceful vacation!

| Great cottage!
Our family has rented this cottage for two years in a row. Very accommodating and fits our whole crew well (7 kids). Kids definitely enjoyed the upgrades this past year.
Communication with the host is excellent. The stairs to the water are steep but very sturdy and lit up with solar lights at night. There is also a path to walk down to the water which we used to carry down inflatables.
We love that there is no beach sand for the kids to trek everywhere.
Tons of seating, blankets, and towels!
The laundry room is very large! We get our kids to put their clothes away in their rooms, then we put their suitcases in the laundry room to wash and repack for home.
We cannot wait to go back next year! Thanks for hosting us!

| This is a beautiful cottage for the whole family. It has everything you could possibly need and it is so very clean, which we truly appreciated! The fishing was great and the swimming fantastic! It is so very quiet and private ?it's a most perfect lake, and the private beach only a 10 minute paddle boat ride away is a little haven! It is definitely a cottage we would return too!
