| Had the best time at Mcharradise cottage
The pictures don't do justice of how beautiful, bright and quiet the place is.
It is also very well equipped with anything you need to cook, have fun and entertain on sunny and rainy days
I really hope we can be back next summer

| This was one of our best experiences with a cottage rental. The place was even better than the pictures (I usually find that pictures don't reflect reality). It was very well equipped, beds were comfortable, had everything I needed. The owners were very easy to communicate with and always answered my questions. We swam multiple times everyday - the water was lovely for swimming and we used the lilypad for relaxing in the water. Not a lot of distance to travel in the kayak but it was nice to explore the river around the cottage. We had a fire in the fire pit at night, enjoyed corn hole and ladder ball. I will certainly consider renting again or recommending to friends. Minden and Haliburton are both a short drive for stores and activities. The only caveat - there are many steps down to the dock (no railing, some wood steps, some cut from the landscape). It would not be good for elderly parents or mobility challenged people. We did just fine, and so did our kids.

| Very clean cottage and well stocked with all essentials for a perfect cottage stay. 2 bedrooms on the main floor another bedroom in the basement. 2 kayaks, paddle boat for outdoor activities. Books, board games and DVDs for indoor activities. The host was very thoughtful to provide a bottle of wine and craft beer as a welcome gift. It was a nice touch. Cottage is well located. A short drive to Kawartha Dairy for ice cream, Valu Mart, and to Rotary Park , a nice park, for walks.
