| Wow, this place was incredible! I just got back from a stay with my family of 5, including 3 young kids, and this place couldn't have been more perfect.
We spent our days down by the massive beautiful dock. The kids loved jumping into the water, ran around on the water mat, and played in the little sand bar. Equipped with lots of water toys, we enjoyed going on adventures in the canoe, kayak and paddle boat, and watching our oldest learn to balance on the standing board. The cottage sits on a lake that's clean and quiet, yet still large enough to enjoy a trip on a seadoo or boat, and provides stunning views to take in as you explore. We took advantage of the lovely deck attached to the main cottage, with the best BBQ you've ever seen, and had our meals out on the deck looking out onto the water. As dusk approached, we'd often fish and would have lots of success even right off the dock. A fire pit, with plenty of seating provided the perfect gathering spot to enjoy a fire and smores before the kids would pass out from the day's fun. The cottage itself is beautiful, and even bigger and better than the pictures highlight. We had a family of 4 join us for a quick stay and the spacious fully equipped cottage hosted all 9 of us very comfortably.
This place never left us wanting more. Margo, our host made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. We loved our stay at Valhalla and look forward to retuning again next year!

| Our family had one of the best vacations ever at the Valhalla Chalet. Margo went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. She was an amazing host! We launch our pontoon boat which we docked at the cottage. We toured the lakes and fished daily (fishing was excellent and my husband caught his largest bass ever) Kids had a blast with water toys and the floating mat. The cottage was gorgeous and very well equipped. Definitely plan to come back!

| Dear Cathy, Grant and Margo,
Our stay at the Valhalla Chalet was amazing! Our family of 9 people had so much fun. We enjoyed the dock and the water a lot and the children could play all day long (great selection on toys). Without any problem we could go into the water with the children since the first part of the lake is shallow. The flooding mat was definitely a highlight, for young and old You have a beautiful home with a great cottage touch. We felt home right away, and nothing was missing. Every detail has been well thought out in this cottage rental.
Thanks to the gazebo we could enjoy the outdoors even at night. The fire ban was lifted and night burning was permitted near the end of our stay and we enjoyed some beautiful camp fires.
The location of the cottage is great. Within 30min you are at the beautiful Algonquin Provincial Park.
Margo, the Property Manager was accessible and responsive to all of our inquiries and needs before and during our stay.
We highly recommend The Valhalla Chalet for vacation memories.

| We had the most amazing week at The Valhalla Chalet. We were a family of 4 adults (2 adults, 2 grandparents) and 3 kids. The house is spacious with 5 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - this is perfect for 2 families giving everyone enough privacy and space. There are numerous spots to relax and enjoy the magnificent views - on the patio, at the firepit, in the lounge, the sun room, the gazebo, the deck and the lake - every angle is breath taking!
The lake is perfect for young and older kids with a shallow entry point and mini beach. Everything is exactly as described and in the pictures. We sat at the firepit every night, watching the sunset and we enjoyed kayaking, paddle boat, paddle board, canoeing, water mat, and splashing in the lake. There was more than enough to keep us busy and we only went to Linkie's Store once. On a rainy day, there are games and puzzles to keep the family entertained. The house is private and surrounded by massive trees. We will definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for the perfect vacation or break away.

| The most spectacular place to have a girl's weekend with lovely soul sisters! The beautiful cottage is impeccable with all the comforts of home. It has a calm,serene vibe with a wood stove and stellar views from the many large windows. Comfy beds and a kitchen made for gathering and cooking!
The property is magnificent with a beautiful shoreline, a firepit for evening gathering and a dock to swim and paddle from! It has all you need for a getaway, whether you prefer relaxation and downtime, or hiking, kayaking, paddling and swimming, this place will not disappoint! I cannot recommend it enough! One of the best experiences I've had in cottage country!
