A 14 ft. aluminum fishing boat with a 9.9 Yamaha electric start motor, and electric bilge pump is available to "rent" during your stay. | We had a fantastic stay. The Chalet was perfect for our three generation family, with plenty of space for both adults and kids to relax and enjoy.
The Chalet is amazing, super clean, with beautiful bedrooms and no bathroom line up for your family. Very well equipped kitchen with modern appliances, and lots of space to spend time together cooking a meal. A nice long harvest table so everyone can eat together. Lots of room to spend time together, or escape to a quite corner.
Also a large deck with plenty of seating, and a big "A" barbecue with a smoker.
Beach area is sandy and great for the wee ones with totes full of beach toys and floaties. They spent hours building sand castles, sighting frogs and playing on the watermat. The HUGE dock was wonderful for the family to spend time together, and the children enjoyed learning to fish and actually catching a good size bass. The 14 ft. aluminum boat rental was an added bonus !!!
Everyone spent hours and hours paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, swimming, floating on the water, and playing outdoor games (too many games to mention). You won't be bored !!!
Best cottage rental experience ever! All you need to bring is food and "family spirit".
And lastly, Margo was a "SUPER" host, incredibly responsive, and quick to answer any questions we had. Thank you so much !!!
We will be returning for the beautiful falls colours, and we will definitely see you again in 2026.

| Valhalla Chalet, August, 2025
The Chalet exceeded my family's expectations which is incredible since the three families had varying expectations and requirements. I had concerns since there were six adults and four grandchildren ranging from 10 months to 14 years old. How to keep everyone engaged especially if it rained All my reservations disappeared when we entered the vestibule. This recently renovated, spotlessly clean, Chalet has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, (including 2 which are ensuites), a fully stocked kitchen with modern, upgraded appliances and a laundry room. The ground floor has a Game of Thrones dining table which easily accommodated us all at mealtime. The interior pictures understate the quality of the finishes. There is a large wood deck with Bar BQ and Smoker overlooking the lake. There is a sandy beach for the toddlers, a large dock with several Muskoka chairs and abundant seating encircling the fire pit. The Chalet provides a motor boat, canoe, paddle board and peddle boat. As stated in the listing there are outside and inside games galore. Fishing is good we were never shut out. I highly recommend this cottage for large groups.
A special thank you is extended to Margo who made check-in and check-out less stressful. She gave us a thorough guided tour of the interior and the exterior of the Chalet and showed us how to operate the various appliances. She also showed the storage shed where life jackets and outdoor games were stored.

| Rene and I have just finished a wonderful week sharing with our long time friends/cousins, Sean and Maria, Mike and Julie, our fifth year cottaging together. The Valhalla cottage receives our very best comments for an all-inclusive, most comfortable, beautiful spot to enjoy a week with good friends or family..
Beds were great, showers were excellent, the kitchen offered everything needed for preparing awesome meals, the deck and the lake deck gave us the perfect view while swimming, relaxing and playing games/cards. Thanks for making sure the details were covered.
Too much to eat and drink but that's on us, thanks again so much for looking after the details.

| We had the most incredible week at this beautiful property (back for our second time)! From the serene lake views to the gorgeous grounds, everything felt like the perfect escape. We especially loved how many games we could play together right on the property, which meant lots of fun and laughs.
Margo was incredibly helpful with all of our questions and made the whole experience seamless. The big dock was the perfect spot to soak up the sun and the lake was the best place to cool off! Our dogs absolutely loved the lake and were happily exhausted each evening after all their swimming adventures!
We had such a wonderful time and made so many great memories. We can't wait to come back again!
