| Our second stay at this beautiful cottage, and once again, it did not disappoint!
The cottage is spacious, spotless, beautifully appointed and incredibly well equipped. Jadranka has truly thought of everything, from the fully stocked kitchen and all the extras to the life jackets and water toys. All you really need to bring is your food and personal items, and you're set.
The lake is quiet and peaceful, and being right across from the cottage made it so easy to spend our days on the water. The kids had a blast fishing and made full use of the stand-up paddleboards, canoe and kayak. So many great memories!
Markdale is also just a quick drive away for restaurants, pizza or anything you may have forgotten. We also made a trip to the nearby alpaca farm, which was a fun addition to our week.
A wonderful, relaxing place to stay, and clearly a place that is cared for with a lot of thought. We loved our second visit and would happily come back again!

| From the start, Jadranka was amazing and so easy to talk to. Any questions I had before and during our stay were answered very quickly. Our family has been coming to Irish Lake for many years and over the years we have outgrown staying in one cottage. I was so happy we were able to co-ordinate and rent The Getaway. What a beautiful cottage. Exactly as described and so much more. So clean, comfortable and spacious. We had 6 adults and 2 young children and never felt we were cramped. We utilized the 3 bedrooms and the pull-out couch in the sunroom - which was very comfortable and appreciated that all the linens were included. Also included were all towels including beach towels and life jackets. The kitchen was very well equipped and we all loved the convenience of the coffee bar and the gas bbq and picnic table just outside the back door. The outside amenities were many. From toys for the kids to the beautiful front deck and comfortable muskoka chairs and amazing views. Sunrise in the morning and a lovely shaded spot by afternoon for cocktail hour. My daughter and son-in-law used the paddle boards as well. A perfect lake with no motorized vehicles. We would not hesitate to return again.

cottage is modern with first class furniture and extremely comfortable bedding
very well equipped kitchen and a host of equipment for entertainment from a large tv screen to games and boats

The cottage was clean and the surroundings were peaceful.

| We really enjoyed our stay at Jadranka's cottage. It had everything you need in a cottage, from paddle boards to board games, to cozy throws and the cutest coffee bar.
The property is large with a meadow and a fireplace. The lake is calm, perfect for paddling and kayaking. It rained for some of our stay, but it was a welcome getaway from the city, as the cottage itself was perfectly designed to stay in and enjoy the serenity. The host was easy to get a hold of and answered our questions promptly.
