| A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage has everything you need plus fire pits, a trampoline, swings, kayaks and tubes and, my favourite, a hammock right on the beach. Sandy entrance to the quiet lake (no boats tearing around). I'm not a cook and enjoyed picking up food from a couple of local food trucks and the excellent pizza place in Barrys Bay.
Mark is responsive and wants you to have the best experience.

I'm very happy to help our guests make the most of their stay. As far as the sap goes, yes it's been more than usual this year. Thankfully an easy and effective solution is rubbing in some hand sanitizer and dissolving it, then wiping it off with a cloth. Works like a charm, and on clothes too. Hope to have you back Sheila! | I'm so glad I stumbled upon this listing! We stayed here at the end of June 2025. Cottage was the perfect size, very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for the week. We were there doing the first heat wave of the year so we were very appreciative of the A/C!
The property was beautiful, with a fantastic campfire area and waterfront. Great for swimming and kayaking. It felt so private, we hardly saw anyone else all week. The outdoor shower was amazing!
Mark was a fantastic host. He was very responsive and you could tell he wanted us to have a wonderful time.
We highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for an affordable getaway. Thanks for everything Mark, we hope to be back next year! :)

| We went up to this cottage for a few days just after the long weekend in September. The cottage was very well laid out inside, felt like a new cottage, and was very clean, well taken care of. We spent most of our time on the water with the kayaks as well as using the row boat to do some fishing. Even caught a couple as well. The host was top notch! Provided great customer service and you can tell he wanted us to enjoy the property on ourselves. We had a great time! Thanks again Mark!

| Mark provided us with all the info we needed to have a simple, yet comfortable week of relaxation and fun. This cottage is packed with function and design. A true cottage life experience, but with luxuries like hot, outdoor shower and steps to a private beach. Thanks Mark!! We loved it!

| We stayed in July 2024. Exceptionally clean, stocked with supplies to get us started, including water jugs and firewood. We had beautiful campfires in the back but our favourite was at our private beach.
It felt like we were the only ones on the lake most of the time as the cottage is at far end of the road. We enjoyed kayaking and the rowboat, where we caught some fish to fry! Our weather was beautiful. It only rained twice in 2 weeks, where Mark had provided us with games and crosswords. We also enjoyed day trips to Barry's Bay and Palmer's Rapids. .... YES, the outdoor shower is hot and amazing! It was very tranquil. Thank you Polic family for having us! We would definitely stay here again.
