Affordable getaway! Cottaging the way it should be! This location will not disappoint with stunning lake views and sought after privacy. A very clean, quaint and cozy, small 3 bedroom fully renovated family cottage with lots of rustic charm and personality. Suitable for up to 6 guests, maximum. This is a 6.5 acre property with private natural yard surrounded by towering trees, trails and is situated on a gorgeous lake with great fishing. Just a 20 min drive to the cute little town of Barry's Bay which has all the essentials and just a 10 min drive to convenience/ ice cream/LCBO store!
Included are TV with satellite service, DVD player and movie selection, no wifi (but good cell/data reception), full kitchen (no dishwasher), BBQ with propane, washer and dryer, air conditioning, 2 kayaks, aluminum rowboat, 12ft trampoline, outdoor patio set, lounging bench swing at your own private beach with dock. Choose to use our picturesque backyard or beachfront fire pits (firewood included). The cottage is plumbed with lake water so we also include three 5 gallon jugs of water for the water dispenser and due to available space we only offer a private outdoor hot shower (and it's pretty awesome!).
Our 3 bedrooms include: 1 queen bed, twin over double bunk and twin over twin bunk, renters are expected to bring their own bedding/linens, coverings and towels. Pillows are available.
There are no cleaning fees so we ask that you leave the cottage as you found it. No fees or taxes.
*Although we prioritize minimum 4 night stays, 3 night stays are possible on a case by case basis.

| We went up to this cottage for a few days just after the long weekend in September. The cottage was very well laid out inside, felt like a new cottage, and was very clean, well taken care of. We spent most of our time on the water with the kayaks as well as using the row boat to do some fishing. Even caught a couple as well. The host was top notch! Provided great customer service and you can tell he wanted us to enjoy the property on ourselves. We had a great time! Thanks again Mark!

| We stayed in July 2024. Exceptionally clean, stocked with supplies to get us started, including water jugs and firewood. We had beautiful campfires in the back but our favourite was at our private beach.
It felt like we were the only ones on the lake most of the time as the cottage is at far end of the road. We enjoyed kayaking and the rowboat, where we caught some fish to fry! Our weather was beautiful. It only rained twice in 2 weeks, where Mark had provided us with games and crosswords. We also enjoyed day trips to Barry's Bay and Palmer's Rapids. .... YES, the outdoor shower is hot and amazing! It was very tranquil. Thank you Polic family for having us! We would definitely stay here again.
