| Our extended family of 12 stayed here for a week and enjoyed our time. Place was clean, open, modern and the pics are exactly as shown. Sean was easy to communicate with and responsive. Kids enjoyed the games room in the basement and we were happy with the amount of space considering we had 8 adults and 4 children. The lake was quiet and beautiful when we were there with lots of fishing for the kids off the dock. All in all it was a great stay and we highly recommend this cottage.

| Our group had an amazing time at Sean's Cottage. Cottage looked exactly like the pictures, very clean and modern Cottage. Very well decorated and lots of activities for all ages. Family friendly Airbnb with lots of toys and sleeping options. Sean had excellent communication throughout. A+ experience. Will definitely be back with our group!

| My group of 10 had an amazing week-long stay at the Lakeside Retreat. We were so pleased with the cottage - it was incredibly clean, modern, bright, roomy and comfortable. The cottage was large enough for our entire group to hang out in close proximity and for individuals to retreat to their own corners. We made good use of the full-sized ping pong table, the arcade games, the huge flat screen tv, and we played multiple board games on the large dining room table.
The outdoor space was also exceptionally enjoyable. We all spent a lot of time on the new, wide, sturdy dock sunbathing, nature watching and fishing - lots of bites! The lake water is some of the clearest and warmest I've ever swam in and it being super calm, made paddling and kayaking so peacefully breezy.
Some other notes:
We really appreciated the second fridge - very helpful for larger groups. Air conditioning (our week was super hot and humid), internet (some of us worked from the cottage), hot water (3 showers) were all sufficiently delivered. Solid wood doors to the bedrooms allowed quiet nights and mornings for early sleepers and late risers. There are many stairs between the cottage and dock which made it a little challenging to navigate but did not prevent us from fully utilizing the dock/lakefront. Sean was a very friendly, responsive and accommodating host.
Overall, a fantastic, pleasant stay and we hope to be repeat tenants!

| Our family stayed for a total of two weeks at this property and we had a great time! Bright, modern, clean and has good views of the lake. The cottage was expansive enough for our large family and everyone had their own room. The basement had lots of fun things for the kids (classic video game cabinets, table tennis and foosball) to do on rainy days. We also appreciated the modern appliances (dishwasher, two fridges and washer/dryer unit). Internet access was excellent -- pretty good considering the rural location. The lake itself was warm and very clear and we spent hours swimming and paddling around. The newly installed dock was nice and we heavily used the provided kayaks and paddle boards. I'd say the only two drawbacks to the place (if I can call them that) is that the property sits on a Canadian Shield formation (normal for this part of the province)--- so those with mobility/health issues might find the multiple flights of stairs to the lake challenging (note: there's a few landings and the stairs to the dock are well engineered). Also, this is beyond the owner''s control, but the lane that leads to the cottage needs some upgrading. It's degraded in areas and may prove to be a challenge for compact cars/low-floored cars (we didn't have any issues though, as we had Honda/Subaru SUVs). The area itself is quite beautiful and is close Bon Echo P.P. (which we explored). The property owner (Sean) is responsive and very friendly. We'll likely come back again!

| We spent a wonderful week at the Lakeside Retreat. The cottage is brand new and everything is gleaming. There was plenty of room for the multiple families that came with us. We were pleasantly surprised by all of the toys and activities onsite for the kids. Communication with Sean was terrific and we loved the area guide he provided. We booked an ATV excursion (Thrill Seeker ATV Tours) and that ended up being the highlight of our week. You'll enjoy your stay here!
