| Wow, a whole lot of wonderful packed into a cozy little cottage! We spent 6 nights watching the most lovely sunsets from the expansive deck, and many low tides exploring the flats with our pups. Everything you could need in the cottage, right down to an adorable screened 'bbq hut' that also has the best of views! Clean and tidy, comfy and welcoming…we certainly plan to return. | Thank you Bill and Jean for renting my family this wonderful cottage. This was a true piece of paradise and we are looking forward to coming back again soon. The deck is huge and overlooks the beach and a wonderful spot to have your morning coffee. It is also a perfect spot to view the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen. We were lucky enough to experience a meteor shower and got to see the east link satellites that provide service to the remote areas. The water is warm for swimming and we were lucky enough to catch the tides for perfect swimming condition during our stay. Even when the tide was out we walked many miles collecting shells, sea glass and digging clams. The location is great for day trips and not far from Amherst and Port Elgin when supplies were needed. When at the cottage you need to make a trip to Duncans in Amherst for lunch as they have the best seafood chowder I have ever tasted. I absolutely recommend you book a stay at this cottage when in the area and guarantee you will not be disappointed. Bill and Jean are the perfect hosts and keep you informed of everything you need to make your stay enjoyable.

For such great accommodations, for example walking on the ocean floor was so much fun and my Shitzu even loved it. The swimming was nothing I had experienced before.
We experienced breath taking sunsets and morning coffee on the deck is something to be savoured.
Other little towns are not far , for adventure.
Looking forward to returning again this summer.

| Thank you, Bill and Jean for sharing your beautifull cottage. It is a true piece of paradise. We loved looking at the changing tides and the wildlife. We saw eagles , belted Kingfisher, Herons, Osprey and even a Seal on one occasion! The Belted Kingfisher would greet us every morning sitting on the birdhouses on the dock. Perfect way to start the day with some coffee. Good shade on the patio to about 2oclcok, afterward sunshine t'ill sunset! Everything we meeded and more! Great walks on low tide and good swimming while it was high tide. Very good hospitality and communication.
