Enjoy strolling the beach, swimming or exploring some the region's abundant history and culture and finish the day on your own large private deck with expansive ocean views and breathtaking, iconic sunsets.
Once the sun has set, the electric fireplace adds ambience and warmth to your cottage experience.

Studio style cottage featuring open floor plan and floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean to maximize views.

Sleep well: brand new queen size bed, double sofa bed with feather duvet & Egyptian cotton sheets.

BBQ with a view from the new shed-style gazebo on property!

Cottage is most ideal for anyone seeking a beach vacation or getaway and can accommodate up to 4 guests.
Plenty of room for RV parking and tents (additional fees may apply).

FUN FACT: Decades ago our grandfather bought this oceanfront property, and had the cottage built for our grandmother?this is where our parents met as teenagers in the early 50's! It's a small piece of paradise that our family hold close to our hearts and we are very happy to share the magic with you and trust you will relax and create your own special memories here.

Thank you Bill and Jean for renting my family this wonderful cottage. This was a true piece of paradise and we are looking forward to coming back again soon. The deck is huge and overlooks the beach and a wonderful spot to have your morning coffee. It is also a perfect spot to view the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen. We were lucky enough to experience a meteor shower and got to see the east link satellites that provide service to the remote areas. The water is warm for swimming and we were lucky enough to catch the tides for perfect swimming condition during our stay. Even when the tide was out we walked many miles collecting shells, sea glass and digging clams. The location is great for day trips and not far from Amherst and Port Elgin when supplies were needed. When at the cottage you need to make a trip to Duncans in Amherst for lunch as they have the best seafood chowder I have ever tasted. I absolutely recommend you book a stay at this cottage when in the area and guarantee you will not be disappointed. Bill and Jean are the perfect hosts and keep you informed of everything you need to make your stay enjoyable.

Thank you, Bill and Jean for sharing your beautifull cottage. It is a true piece of paradise. We loved looking at the changing tides and the wildlife. We saw eagles , belted Kingfisher, Herons, Osprey and even a Seal on one occasion! The Belted Kingfisher would greet us every morning sitting on the birdhouses on the dock. Perfect way to start the day with some coffee. Good shade on the patio to about 2oclcok, afterward sunshine t'ill sunset! Everything we meeded and more! Great walks on low tide and good swimming while it was high tide. Very good hospitality and communication.

We stayed for 5 weeks - summer of 2020. Cottage has all needed and Amherst is a short scenic drive away. I know many people will find hard to believe one can survive that long without internet and TV... But if you think you can find more in life beside our daily distraction, this is the place to be...This is the most romantic and wonderful place in the world. You can never imagine how much enjoyment you will get watching the sunset, walking on the floor of the ocean, enjoying the water, the beauty of the nature and the wild life surrounding you. You will find time to play, talk, recharge, reconnect and just...be together. We've had such a great time at the cottage that we only traveled a few days but Bay of Fundy, Cavendish Beach, Halifax are only a day trip away. Yes, I should stop now - otherwise next year it will be too difficult to find time to register and go back again! Thank you Janet for the fabulous memories you gave us the chance to have!

If you are looking for a beautiful, rustic, unbelievably clean cottage steps from the ocean... this is the place for you! You really don't need to bring a thing!! Just food and your swimming gear!! The cottage has so much character and history. We loved how antique furniture was incorporated throughout the cottage! Janet ( the owner) was excellent- she gets back to you right away- and provides you her cell number in case of issues! (she lives out of the province) The caretaker dropped by, ensured everything was okay, and encouraged us to leave a note if we felt anything was needed! The weather was amazing, the ocean was super warm, and the sunset... one of the best I've seen! I cannot thank Janet enough for being so accommodating! Book your stay, and be prepared to relax and unwind!!
