| The stay at Sean's place was terrific, despite the power being out for 3 of the 5 days we stayed. It certainly took an adjustment to our plans to have fun, but Sean was a terrific host throughout, doing everything he could to provide amenities through the outage. (The power outage was from a large storm, which affected many across the province, and took longer than usual for hydro to fix).
The cottage itself is great for groups with kids and has fun amenities including an arcade, ping pong, and kayaks. The stairs down to the water are long, so people need to be mobile enough to get up and down. The view at the lake has a highway in front, so not exactly private, but the water is clean, and the lake itself is beautiful with a number of small bays and islands to explore if you like to paddle.
We had a great time as a group, and very much appreciate Sean's proactive approach to help us keep spirits high and enjoy the time.

| Sean's cottage is a great destination for large family gatherings! It was clean and its surroundings very beautiful. The cottage had amenities beyond the usual towels and base level kitchen such as several toys for kids and kayaks for its private dock. Sean was very responsive to my messages. I would definitely recommend this cottage!

| We had an amazing time at Sean's cottage. The property is spacious, spotless, and exactly as pictured, with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate large groups and families. The cottage has everything you need for a memorable stay—comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, games, ping pong, an arcade machine, kayaks, a big deck, BBQ, firepit, and reliable wifi. It offers a perfect balance of relaxation and fun for all ages.
The lake is crystal clear and great for swimming, kayaking, and fishing, with beautiful sunrises and peaceful surroundings. While the stairs down to the dock may be challenging for very young children or older guests, the waterfront itself is private, quiet, and absolutely stunning once you get there. The road leading in is a bit tricky, but that's part of the cottage experience and not something the host controls. For large groups, you may want to bring extra plates, as the kitchen setup fits smaller numbers best.
The location is ideal—close to Bon Echo Park (about 20 minutes), great for hiking, beaches, and paddling, and still only a short drive to groceries and essentials.
Above all, Sean is a fantastic host: highly responsive, accommodating, and always quick to answer questions. He made the booking process and stay smooth and stress-free.
This cottage is perfect for anyone looking for a clean, spacious, and well-maintained place with a breathtaking lakefront view. Highly recommend, and we would definitely stay again.

| We had an amazing time at Sean's cottage. The place was exactly as pictured, very clean, spacious, and well kept. There was more than enough room for our group and it had everything we needed—comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, big living spaces, plus extras like ping pong, arcade games, kayaks, a large deck, BBQ, firepit, and good wifi.
The lake was the highlight. Crystal clear water, perfect for swimming and kayaking, with quiet surroundings and beautiful sunrises. The dock was a great spot to relax and spend time. The stairs down to the lake are a bit of a climb, especially for older guests or very young kids, but once you're down there it's worth it. The road in can be tricky, but that's just part of the cottage setting. For larger groups it helps to bring some extra plates since the kitchen is set up more for smaller numbers.
The location is peaceful and private but still close to essentials, and only about twenty minutes from Bon Echo Park for hiking, beaches, and exploring.
Sean was a fantastic host—very quick to reply and easy to deal with. He made everything simple from booking through to check-out.
It's a great spot for families or groups looking for a clean, spacious cottage with a stunning lakefront. We'd definitely come back.
