| Devil's Elbow is a HIDDEN GEM!! There would never be enough space to be able to describe why this place has been a home away from home each summer for over 50 years!. I still get butterflies as I drive up to its welcoming sign each year. Devil's is in complete partnership with Mother Nature and that is what I feel sets itself apart from any other summer retreat! It's off the grid appeal exchanges WIFI for tennis, basketball, swimming, fishing and campfires underneathe the most amazing jewelled skies. Cozy log cabins right out of a storybook are equipped with all the comforts of home including an aluminim row boat to enjoy the serene of little Sharrow Lake. It is evident in all its surroundings the care and pride the Johns Family have and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. A new addition are two great walking trails that will take you on a scenic hike around the lake.. a must do! Fresh baked goods can be ordered and delivered to your cabin upon request... fresh cinnamon rolls a must! The clubhouse is a great place to gather with friends on a rainy day... or a round of horse shoes when the sun comes out! But the beach is for me! Sandy walk in to a clear freshing lake. Two docks to gather. Such and inviting place for families and friends of all ages. I just love the fact that you feel that all that surrounds you at Devil's are the means to provide relaxation, a breath of fresh air and always great people who appreciate it just as much as I. See you there!!
