| The cottage and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful. The cottage and bunkie were cozy and had everything we needed for 7 adults. The available boardgames, DVDs, and VHS tapes were an added bonus. Linda left us a lovely welcome gift on our first day. The leaves had just started changing during our stay and the views were stunning. We spent the warm days out on the water and the cool nights huddled by the campfire and then in the homey living room. The quiet mornings were a highlight, especially spent down at the dock. Launching a fishing boat was very easy at the nearby boat launch. There were different types of watercraft available - we particularly loved the kayaks! We (briefly) swam and, even in late September, the lake was refreshing and perfect to swim in. Jumping off the dock was a blast and there was no algae or weeds of any kind to get caught in. Linda made the entire process very easy and she was wonderfully responsive. My security deposit was returned promptly and with a very sweet message. The driveway can be a bit steep depending on your vehicle (trucks and SUVs would be completely fine). Overall, this is the perfect place to spend time with loved ones, be it friends or family, and to feel a sense of awe at the world.

| A swimmers paradise! This lake will not disappoint anyone who is a bit of a fish like I am! A number of floaty things to use and two kayaks, in addition to a peddle boat and paddle boat. Sunset Lakeview Cottage was the perfect setting for our escape from the city! The bunkie with two small bedrooms was perfect for almost adult children to have some time to themselves. Linda was fantastic with her communication and the tips that she provided. Thank you, Linda! Despite being an early riser, I did find the light curtains in the main bedroom to be too light/sheer. (I'm used to blackout blinds). That's it though! Everything else was perfect!! Oh, and I was amazed by the water pressure in the shower!

| We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Lakeview cottage! The cottage is compact, but the set up was well thought out. There were fantastic views of the lake throughout the entire living space, and lots of seating options outside with equally beautiful views. The only thing I'd mention is if you are a larger person, entering the bathroom could be a tight squeeze.
We were able to prepare all of our meals using the cookware and utensils provided. We have definitely rented cottages where the pots and pans were unusable, but this was not the case here!
There were lots of outdoor activities available at the cottage, and we made use of the kayaks to explore the lake. A highlight for us, while relaxing on the dock, was having multiple close-up visits with the resident loons.
Days when we chose not to stay at the cottage, it was a short trip to Algonquin Park, as well as Maynooth and Bancroft. There are options nearby to be as busy as you like, or you can simply enjoy the lake.
Throughout the rental process, Linda was very responsive to all of our questions and communication was great. We were happy to have the opportunity to meet Linda and Neil in person. They were wonderful, welcoming people and we enjoyed our short visit with them.
We definitely plan to return, and perhaps bring along some of our other family members.

| As first time cottage renters our family had a pleasant stay at this cottage. It's well maintained and clean, with great views of the lake. We liked that it came with everything we needed including a BBQ, and outdoor equipment like canoes, kayaks and pedal boat. Would highly recommend.

| This cottage sits on one of the most beautiful Ontario lakes. Expansive & quiet, we loved seeing the otters swim by. The weather was starting to cool off but the water was still great for swimming. Cottage & bunkie are cozy and well maintained. We especially appreciated provision of the linens - that saves a lot of work! When we had six people for a few days, it was a bit cramped - which is my only issue.
