| We love coming to Swaugers Lake for our family vacations, the lake is very private and quiet, the water is clean and great for swimming. The fishing is amazing. The cottage is beautiful and was the perfect size for our group of 6. We enjoyed our dinners in the screened room. Tammy and Cory are so nice and helpful. This place really is a gem.

| The cottage was excellent. Obviously very new. It had virtually everything anyone would want for a comfortable stay. It was super clean. It was nice to have the second washroom, with shower which was detached from the main cottage and also had a washer and dryer. There was ample parking. Two separate bedrooms had king size beds. Very nice to have central air conditioning as it was hot a few days. Basic food items, etc. could be found in a nearby town (Plevna) about 10 minutes away. if more supplies were needed like a grocery store there was one about 20 minutes away in Northbrook. Due to the excessive heat and lack of rain the water level was a bit lower than normal however, the owners had built in long enough dock and we could jump in off the end. The water was nice and clear as apparently the lake is spring fed. I went fishing and caught a few large mouth bass and pike . One of the highlights for me was that it was a private access only lake ….so not too busy. With regard to water fun… they had kayaks , paddle boards , a Canoe and an aluminum boat. Lastly the hosts Cory and Tammy were super nice people, always making sure all was well and asking for feedback in order to find ways to improve things . I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to get away a relax.

| We had a wonderful stay at the cottage for 3 nights.The place was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for spending time outdoors. My Family had a great time with catch and release fishing. It is a private lake. Thank you Cory and Tammy! We would definitely love to come back again!
