Located on Swaugers Lake in North Frontenac Township this vacation property is only two hours west of Ottawa, two hours east of Peterborough and less than one kilometer drive off of the main highway 506. Swaugers Lakeside Retreat is perfect for your family to get away and relax in 1,100 square feet of new living space. This air-conditioned new park model cottage welcomes you with two king size bedrooms and a third bedroom with a double bed and single bunk. Enjoy the fully equipped eat in kitchen with ample counter space for preparation and gathering. The bright open concept living and dining area overlooks the beautiful lake front through a patio door leading onto the comfortably furnished 10' x 30' screened covered deck. You will find yourself here enjoying morning coffee, listening to the sounds of nature or watching the evening sunsets. The main cottage three-piece bathroom incudes a tub/ shower. The second three-piece bathroom is separate from the main cottage by only a few steps away which includes a stand-up shower and the laundry facilities, offering convenient access when enjoying your time outdoors.
The lake is a short walk from the cottage with a gradual grassed decline to a sand beach. The lake has a shallow decent into the water with a sandy bottom which is great for small kids. From there you will find a rocky, lake grass water feature before getting to the deeper waters at the end of the newly constructed dock. The dock is perfect for sun tanning, fishing or you can jump off the end for some fun cannon balls!
Swaugers Lake is surrounded by private property with no public access which makes it private, great for fishing bass and pickerel or enjoying a surreal paddle and exploring the shores of this quiet lake. Included with the rental are two kayaks, two paddle boards, 14-foot aluminum boat, electric trolling motor and a canoe for your enjoyment. The property also offers flat grassed areas for outdoor activities, games and a camp fire pit. There is lots of parking and you can pull your vehicle right up to the main entrance for easy unloading. Starlink Internet is also included with the rental.
